Hi, I come from the NaturalVision Evolved video and just checked out this other one. Maybe you haven't realized it yet but what you do here is not only amazing in case of presenting GTA. A lot of people will see, that you have an eye (and ear) for stunning transitions, camera-angles, movements, views and effects. These are not just some trailers to show a mod or a game. In my minor opinion this is art. I can only recommend you to let GTA V go a little bit in the background doing trailers for some other games as well to generate a showreel and make yourself a name in the trailer industry. If you won't get hired for this, then something is wrong in this world. Update: And just right now I watched 'Anna' for the first time. ... And I'm speechless.

so much attention to details and synchronization.. i love the audiovisual journeys like this, and just like in your previous videos you completely nailed both the audio and visual parts. i'm always trying to connect all the scenes together, figure out the plot in the project and admittedly, it's usually too difficult for me, but i dont mind it and just enjoy the piece. maybe i'm over-expecting a bit and it's just a bunch of scenes beautifully put together in an accompaniment of finely tuned music and audio effects. either way, love your work. the final transition with the unfolding music as the guy was supposedly falling down the skyscraper felt unreal. i could only wish this video would keep going. your videos never cease to amaze me, so thank you for uploading even this unfinished bit. sometimes if you just keep putting the stake higher and higher you can end up in an endless loop of not being satisfied enough. obviously it has its pros and cons, the pros being you always release a masterpiece and the cons, even if they are simply fantastic for most of the people, you still may wanna dismiss it because it doesn't meet your (high) expectations. it reminds me of how artists have to decide which songs to put on their new albums.. 6-15 songs out of hundreds of demos and thousands of hours of work put into them, each of them probably more than good enough to satisfy most of the fans, each of them never going to be heard by any of the fans. keep doing what you're doing. thanks
@Soupape504 жыл бұрын
I'm so proud of you for uploading this unfinished. As I can understand by reading the description, you needed to move on. You were stuck on something we cannot understand, at a level of editing we've never been before. You could have ended the video with a fade out transition, and no one would have noticed anything. But you're a true artist, and you don't want to show a finished product that isn't finished in your heart. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I can't wait to see what you're going to create in the future. Greetings from Switzerland ! 💖

Subtitles in the beginning : "You know that story of the Russian cosmonaut ? So he goes up in this big spaceship, and he's got this portal window, and he's looking out of it, and he sees the curvature of the Earth for the first time. And all of a sudden this strange ticking... Begins coming out of the dashboard. But he can't find it. He can't stop it. It keeps going. Few hours into this, begins to feel like torture. What's he gonna do ? He's up in space... So the cosmonaut decides... the only way to save his sanity... is to fall in love with this sound." Taken from the movie Another Earth (2011). Sorry, but I'm gonna watch this unfinished masterpiece a number of times in my life, so I figured I'd write the "lyrics" at least for myself 😂
@MrJagermeister3 жыл бұрын
I was wondering where they came from; they were so familiar. Definitely gonna watch Another Earth again. Brit Marling knocks it out of the park in all of her films, but I also really want to recommend “Sound of my Voice” and “The East” especially, but also “I, Origins” and the Netflix show “The OA”. All of them are mind bending, reality twisting tales that you ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT WATCH PREVIEWS FOR. Just trust an internet stranger for once and check them out.

This is some ground breaking editing to be honest, you convey a story without forcing it. It feels as if the game itself is actually alive, which is something you don't really see in edits. If anything you should feel damn proud of yourself for creating something like this. I know you want to perfect it because we as humans always strive for the best, but that shouldn't worry you. Everybody is (rightly) talking about that transition at the end, but I also wanna praise the rotation with the helicopter blades and bicycle tires... and also the wipe at 1:38 in front of the theater after the car passes in front, and the scene before it contrasting the paparazzi camera flashes with the police photographing a crime scene, and that excellent parkour. And is that the Ant-Man van with the device in the back, haha? Honestly the more I watch it, the more I just want to praise everything about it. Like everyone else, I think you should send a reel to Rockstar and try to get a job editing their trailers (but you could equally create non-GTA related stuff and have a prosperous Hollywood career doing this stuff too).
