In his dream, he tried to save a woman who fell, but he couldn’t. He woke up scared, realizing it was just a dream. But it felt so real! Connor lived with his sick mother, and every day was hard for him. At school, a bully picked on him, but Connor ignored him. After school, he watched old movies with his mom, which made him feel better. One night, as he drew pictures of his dreams, a huge monster appeared from the ground! The monster wanted to be friends and tell stories, but Connor was too scared.
From the very next night, the monster returned and told Connor tales of kings and queens. In one story, a prince fought an evil queen to reclaim his throne.
