I used to work for Etihad which is another UAE based airline. Watching these videos brings a lot of memories back :) before I joined I always had wanted to become flight attendant thinking that it was such a glamorous and awesome job. I got disappointed very quickly though. After a few months of flying I couldn't help but feel completely alone all the time. When you go out with the crew, the conversations are always the same and you meet people all the time but you can't connect with them so at some point you don't bother about getting to know them anymore. Then you start going out by yourself in the most places you visit and see different countries and people walking around with their loved ones while you are just all by yourself.... most of the time after the flight you are so out of energy that you don't even wanna leave the hotel room, even if the destination is new. Not to mention serious sleeping problems that slowly can lead into anxiety and depression... but on the other side, it is a great opportunity to see the world and expand your horizons and you can really learn so much about people and life in general so it is definitely an awesome experience overall

Every cabin crew says the same thing. It's a very lonely lifestyle; and flight attendants also have to deal with extreme fatigue and health issues. Not exactly the idea that most people have of life as a flight attendant.

@M M uhh , I live a happy , content and peaceful life. Can be anxious at times and sad too , but hold myself just fine. I have found the meaning to my existence . I have close friends who are Christian , and Muslim and connect with them really well. Sincerely , a Hindu. Oh , and Believers , who believe God is holding their hands , still suffer from anxiety and depression : these two are not just a way of thinking like you deem it to be , they are manifestations of different biochemical states of brain ( not like I can make you understand). Don't belittle people who are suffering like this , Christ would not have wanted that.

The look on your face after you came back from Toronto is the dark side of our job. People ( and passengers ) see only the glamorous side of being a flight attendant, but they cannot understand how you don't sit down or eat for an entire f****** 13 hours !!! 😣 . I've been doing this job since 2 years only, and I've been through a lot. Ups and downs, amazing flights and amazing layovers, horrible flights that made me thinking to quit the job. But so far i'm hanging in there 😉

Am I the only one who loves this type of schedule? I never sleep or wake up at the same hours ( well now I have a job with a steady schedule which is a doom :( )and same goes with eating pattern. I think this would be a great job for me. I have to tell that you have great skin and you look amazing wihotu make even though you don't get enough sleep everytime.

Love the vlog. I used to fly around the world for 12 years delivering packages. I would go, and either come straight back or stay 1 night. Loved it, as I was young! But in the end, you get so used to flying, it's like getting on a bus! It's definitely not glamorous! I feel for you! 😔

I work for an airline But literally the way you looked after a long day at work, not happening you eat or when you last sit down them days are the tough ones.. People think the jobs are amazing but they don't see how we are fighting to stay awake, getting annoyed with changes or not alot of time to sort out your suitcase etc because crewing don't give you enough time.. And More importantly how much it impacts on our privates life's we give up so much to get other people to places they need to be.. Whether it's day or night, special occasion or Christmas time but would I change any of it.. Defintaly not, my job being cabin crew is not a job to me but my lifestyle

No wonder why airlines want their crew to wear such a high coverage make up. Because with this kind of lifestyle with no sleep definitely any one would get dark circles....they might be dying from withing which might show on face ...but yes makeup covers all that even if we are dying within it gives a fresh look....my heart sunk when she was explaining about that 13 hrs flight. I cud see tears in her eyes......

My ex GF is working with Emirates. Its a very tough life and she has depression (and not willing to accept it). Life is only glamorous from the outside. (She is a lovely person and I don't have any hard feeling for her. Its just a fact that this job is super taxing on people and relationships).

I am a trucker and I do expedited deliveries and there is no set schedule. I know what sleep deprivation is big time but flight crews have it much worse because of the amount of different time zones are involved. This what she was talking about when she said the job was very difficult.

I like your video and it seems that this job is difficult but the one thing that I believe in that if you really want to work as a flight attendant you have to sacrifice cuz this job in one point of view it will take you to the most fabulous places ,you will visit so many countries and know about their lifestyle food etc .and also they pay well ,the salary is good ,yeah it's true that you will have sleeping problems and you will gonna feel tired most of the time you only have to take care of yourself take vitamins and practice sport on your free time or at least yoga and eat healthy ,you will get much better ,just try it and fly ,you will have a wonderful experience in your life ,and if you can't really work for so long you may work for 4 years at least you will visit many countries and have adorable memories when you will get older Guys sacrifice for your dreams ,life isn't always how it seems PS: I am still younger and I hope to become a flight attendant in Emirates one day ,I will try everything to achieve that even if it's just for some few years at least I did it 💞🌹

Emirates treats you well compared to reserve FA's in the USA. Reserve is actually do-able. I thought you were mandated a little rest in the overseas flights- that they had crew beds. I enjoy your vlogs!

I also saw your video of the makeup routine and the products you use. Have you ever thought of going vegan and toxin/chemical-free with regarding your makeup? Instead of toxins and animal derived ingredients, you might wish to put makeup on your skin, so healthy, you can nearly eat it. For yourself. You're still young. Like you said, you use makeup everyday and what you put on your skin, goes into your system. But whatever you do, good luck to you, I enjoy your videos a lot. Safe travels and enjoy!
