I've never used a lined notebook but my first year-ish bullet journaling I used a blank notebook. So every spread I did was measured with a ruler as a guide and I did have a "cheat sheet" for my weekly boxes. Great tips in this video!

I love the color palette here! Also, the mood tracker page is so interesting. It really caught my attention :D

This is really great. I love the idea of the cheat sheet. I prefer dot journals for lots of things and never know what to do with the lined journals that I get as gifts.

Hi Erin I see this was posted a year ago, late comer. You cover so many elements with your journalling and that amazes me. You are truly inspirational, creative and thoughtful always thinking about your viewers. Keep it up! 💓🤩Tina T

I am currently using a grid note book and I cannot wait to move into my brand new Leaf Street dot grid that I got in a subscription box.

I haven’t tried a grid page yet! How did you find using it? I imagine it’d be a bit more intuitive than a lined page!
@Haffina2 жыл бұрын
@@ErinSmith As a newbie I don't have enough experience to gauge the difference between it and other papers, but I would guess it is like dot grid, only harder to hide your framework.

Even in my 160gsm notebook I have occasionally had bleed through mostly from watercolour and I’ve done the collage covering method with great effects. A single post-it when there was only one bit of bread through or edge border paper to cover up my first watercolour weekly and had now idea of my papers water tolerance.

I used a line journal for this month. It's okay versus a dot grid.

I don't remember actually - but it was just a cheap one from Stationery Pal, I think it was B5 sized! I don't actually have it anymore

Really? Drawing with a ruler???? Scrapbooking paper? I don't bother to do that, take the composition notebook, and do it

Then do it that way 🙃 some of us enjoy the process of making things pretty
