I love Tour Bangkok Rush since it has turquoise arrow fields, so it looks like N64 Kalimari Desert has a new friend. Some of the arrow-marked barriers are kept around the track, which is nice and replacing the special and regular ones.

@GameXplain The cameos of Flame Flyer & Royale in the posters to the right of the Sky Train are still intact Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's version of Bangkok Rush. I would've love to see that pointed out in this video. Oh well. Maybe perhaps the aforementioned details above can serve as inspiration for a future video you could make regarding possible additional vehicles. That is, if you want to.

I almost did, but because the Tour version has the same posters and the karts are in that game, it's likely an oversight. It would make for a neat KZbin Short or part of a speculation video, though. Thanks for your contribution.

​@@PeachToadstool Still, for the sake of preserving Mario Kart Tour's content into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I do hope Flame Flyer, Royale, & other additonal vehicles like Wild Wing get added into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe someday; along with additional characters, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content, of course. :)

Oh shoot!! I didn't even notice. Edit: I believe this happened because I had a second project folder opened to use as reference, and when I dropped the map files in, they were the wrong maps. Amsterdam Drift is structured similarly because it's a city track.

The Fireworks are a really good touch. Only Mario Kart Stadium, GCN Sherbet Land, and N64 Rainbow Road were the only ones to have them. And it makes sense due to having culture similarities to nearby China. We need the Inky Piranha Plants. I never been into the music though: Tour: 8:01 8D: 9:13

As crazy as this sounds, I think the Tour version is better in a few ways. The Inky Piranha Pants were such a neat course hazard that fit the color palette perfectly. Replacing them with the standard variety makes them a bit of an eyesore, and as they pose no danger to the drivers, that whole area becomes really boring. And the mass removal of tuk-tuks just feels so unnecessary! They're an iconic part of the stage. It'd be like removing the taxis from New York Minute. 😢

Graphic wise, Bangkok looks way more beautiful than it did in Tour. I mean, just look at the scenery! And the water looked so realistic. Also, every time the final lap starts, I immediately see the CPUs go the wrong way.

I'm pretty sure the Yoshi Tour will come after the Ninja Tour that is currently happening. BTW fingers cross that alongside the Yoshi's Island track, the game also puts in the R/T variant of Yoshi Valley, its too much of an opportunity to do that as well.
