A Moped Gang Tried To Steal Our £5000 Bikes

Hi guys, once in Australia when I was riding my TT bike Cannondale Slice in bright orange a car tried to run me into the gutter and two men got out and tried to grab me off the bike. I a pretty tall yet skinny girl went into panic mode and I managed to get away from them. I went to the police station and was shaking in fear, the old bill didn't even take it seriously. I was safe that what matters, but I choose where I ride since then. Chels c:

I ride mostly canal towpaths in and around London, which takes me away from traffic, although Enfield's a bit rough early evenings, and I've seen a few folks giving 'that' look. If it kicks off, I plan to use my Thudbuster XL seat post, and if they produced a machete? Time to hand it over I reckon. I don't even bother with Airtags, because they'll know if they also use apple (likely), and wouldn't want the stress and frustration of trying to figure out which council estate flat it's hidden behind. Some bikes are worth £$10+k and the baddies know this..

This has become a big problem in the US as well…in particular in and around San Francisco. However in the US they are using guns to get you to give up your bike. Glad you guys avoided a potential robbery.

This is wild how scooter mafia rules on London streets 😂 In Poland this is just impossible
