ok so for this video I tested the version 00.05.03.0706 Alpha of the game Age of Empires 2
I used Virtual Machine to be able to play theese since most of them wont work on newer windows versions

The Age of Empires have 1 or 2 versions of the Age of Empires 2 beta that cannot be tested (due to the instaler crashing), and for Age of Empires 1 there is 1 or 2 versions that work sadly

I have the multiplayer alpha and marketing beta of age of mythology, but the beta requires changing date to 2001. I can’t login the alpha

I think with some knowledge, it would be possible to be modify the game itself so u can play without needing the registration/changing date, but its cool to know
