Had the same happen to my parent's furnace. Could hear it chirping for a while, but then it stopped. Never believed my mom about it being there until we finally opened the chimney access hatch (outside) and removed the carcass.

Just love seeing them two running consistently , chasing after one another or knocking each other down. You can see the joy amd happiness on both of their faces.. Lucky them the boys have enough yard space to excercise their muscles and their circulatory system... They are so happy stretching out those beautiful bodies ... Kane looks like a little horse 🐎 as runs and expands his body .. Just love seeing the two doing it.. I see both smiling😊 when their running.

You might have a small opening in the brickwork of the chimney space somewhere not too visible and it's popped out there. I renovated a house once and found a fist sized hole where a stone chimney breast went through the floor above the fireplace. We had used it a couple of times before discovering this and it drew just fine and no smoke leaked.

I'd hazard a guess that some of the vents are just big enough for a bird to poke its head out. And that's when Kane snagged it. And we see the housewolf become the housewolf-walrus as he makes his successful hunt known to the rest of the world.

I mean huskies do have a strong prey drive it easily could’ve been either one and would make more sense to me the smaller one would be able to somehow finagle his snout in and out more quickly though my monies still on the literal wolf.
