A mushroom-themed journal - who will find it?

The cutest whimsical mushrooms are part of this journal - I show you how to make them out of paper circles and a few snips of the scissors. Completing the mushroom theme are a combination of field guide mushroom cutouts and my own small watercolor paintings.
I’ll hide it on June 8 here in my Portland, OR neighborhood as part of the worldwide Game of Shrooms 2024 art scavenger hunt. I am in cahoots with someone else to hide it, but can’t give you clues until the day of the hunt! More previews and June 8 hints on the Community tab of this channel.
I gave you the wrong name of the guy who started Game of Shrooms - it’s Daniel “Attaboy” Seifert and you can find out more Googling “Game of Shrooms” or on Instagram @gameofshroomsofficial.

I love your whimsical fantasy mushrooms exclamation mark I wish I lived closer to Portland so I could try to find your awesome Journal. When I checked for anyone doing game of shrooms near me, I discovered it's a few hundred miles to the nearest participant. I think that might have to go on my bucket list. And by that I mean perhaps try to get this started in my area next year. I think it would be such an amazing fun experience. And I have a few friends that would probably buy into this hook, line, and sinker. I can't wait to see how your search / hiding of mushroom art goes.

So kewl!! I've never heard of this so I did indeed Google it!! I dnt have time to really make anything for it this year but would love to look!! I'd scavenge w the best of them for sure. I just couldn't find where to look for participating artists are at. This is such a fun idea😅 . I plan to participate as an artist nx year for sure though;))!!

Shawn, if you look for the Artist Map, you should find it! Each pin is associated with an artist and has a link to their social media for clues on game day.

Hi Anne! I did some searching and the only tutorial I found of ”make a mushroom from a paper circle” is Luise Heinzl’s. Natasa does beautiful things but this idea is Luise’s 😊💕

I am going to be looking for those above all else I went to the map and I live in SE Portland by the 205 but I am brand new here from Montana so I have no idea how to get to where anything is at and the artist map doesn’t have street names
