Would you ever have to take the license plate off? For example, if you sell the vehicle later on? If so, is there a solution for removing the tag and tape without damaging the paint?! Great video, by the way. I’m researching a solution for my son’s Model 3 (here in the US), where the rear license plate just fell off during a car wash, and "just sticking it back in” doesn’t seem the wisest way to go. Thanks!

It kinda looks that way 3:04 but I screenshot and check with photoshop and it is dead even. (the whole car tilts down on the right, but at a glance it looks like just the plate is tilted)

I would do that to my Tesla but I was informed by a local pc that sticking a number plate straight to the body of a car is illegal. You can stick it to the back plate.i hope he's wrong

I recommend you don't use MuckOff to clean your car. It's highly alkaline and will attack the paint and trim. Great vid tho!

What brand tape did you use and presume all still solid? Concerned the water would get in and make it lose stickiness.

Yeah solid for weeks now - it's just a 3M double sided foam tape.
