I absolutely love love your Mama’s home. I bought the issue of Primitive Place magazine that featured her home. Yours will be in an issue I’m sure. I am just starting out in this decorating style. The first thing I have to do is paint the inside of my home. The white trim drives me crazy! Can you share your mother’s paint colors. Particular the sitting room with the TV. I like the lighter walls and that mantel and trim red color is so lovely! Two trim colors is amazing! The mushroom color in one of the bedrooms is also pretty. Before I can put something on the walls I’ve got to paint.😩

I was in Winter 2013 of A Primitive Place and I was also in Country Sampler Magazine in July 2010 and January 2018. I checked with my Mom and the paint color on the red fireplace is Behr paint Royal Liqueur. She couldn’t find the color she used on her walls but it was Behr paint too.

So much awesomeness to drool over. Question...do you girls have a special store where you purchase those amazing colonial lamps, especially the ones with the round reflector? I found one on ebay but I don't think it's very big and it was super expensive. Your samplers are beautiful.

Yes we used to buy those lamps at a store in Kentucky called Rock Garden Farms but she has recently closed her store. She still has an antique booth at Flea Land in Bowling Green Kentucky. Her name is Darlene Sawyers and she is on Facebook if you would like to contact her.
