On Valentine's Day, my gf and I walked from our house in Sipalay City, the full length of the public beach, took a 20peso paddle boat ferry across the river, visited her mama in Nauhang, then 1 more km to Takatuka. Stayed in the Rockadelic suite! Sugar Beach resorts are nice, with tasty restaurants! Glad you were able to explore and enjoy, David!

Hi! Would you recommend Sugar beach resorts for a solo traveler? Will it still be accessible at night? Im going to Sipalay on July 😊 I love your vid too! very helpful! 🙏

Yes, definitely would recommend it because you can take a trike right to the resort of your choice. Late night, I can't say but till 8:00 p.m. is probably not a problem. I'm speculating though because I always come in during daytime hours.

@@TravelingTutor I am thinking of moving to Victorias city, which is close to Bacolod. If I do move to VC , then I will be spending a lot of time in Bacolod. As I haven't been to Bacolod or Negros before, what can I expect too fin d when I get there ??

@@roderick2105 We'll VC is much smaller than Bacolod City and I've never been there other than driving through. I think Negros Occidental is the perfect size - not too big and not to small of a province to make a home in. Good luck and let's visit when you move here
