A Naked vs. A Well-Dressed Harmonica.

But what if you played naked with the intent of sounding your best accousticly? Ok well you would not use your phone or webcam cheap mic. Some condenser or dymamic, even a ribbon. Then EQ and compression and whatever can be done post microphone... Ok... I get it. 😂 Still your playing the instrument (defined as the whole chain - from mouth to computer) is great Tim! Damn you have soul. ❤

Thanks for your kind words - and yes, all foolin' aside, the acoustic tone of the harmonica is something that everybody needs to work on before the amplified tone doesn't chase people away, and yeah, if I was doing naked harp only (probably some international decency laws in jeopardy there), then to make it sound as good as it could, it would not be thru a cell phone mic. And the Harmonica must be well made too... You forgot to add that. Isn't that your custom Bobby Crow Harmonica as well ¿ 😅 What amp were you playing through or was this straight to computer? You really play a wonderful soulful harp. 🎉

It doesn't hurt, no - but this one is "just" an Old School Golden Melody with a Andrew Zajac comb - Bobby hasn't worked on it..... yet. Soon tho. This was straight to the computer, which was how I was able to switch the amplified sound on and off. And thank you! I really love a slow blues ever now and again....
