Same here, it blows my mind that the only release was that convention exclusive 4 pack back when neca had a lot of issues with the quality of plastic. I thought for sure when they started putting out the more recent variants, the loot crate "shadow" variant, the bluish purple variant, the battle damage variant, i figured a mirage red was right around the corner. Especially since they just put out various new mirage red foot soldiers and the shredder clones. Hoping now for a "2024 fall geekout" release. Would also be nice if they rereleased a mirage April along with it. I just want to complete the comic book collection ive envisioned since my childhood!

I have no problems with re-releases. Practically every action figure line is hard to find in any store, especially if it's a store exclusive of a main character[s]. But I do wish that NECA released these TMNT figures with purple Don, orange Mikey and blue Leo heads. I'd also be cool if they released a separate alternate head accessory pack

The “box” is the alien cuffs that came with Fugitoid, the accessories make sense in the context of the Mirage comics because Raph wore the Casey mask at 1 point (technically that was the Image run but it’s technically part of the same timeline), the turtles have used those weapons, and the other stuff all makes sense, not sure if any of it is new though. As for the colored Bandannas while it would be nice, the Mirage turtles have NEVER dawned the colored bandannas so it makes sense as to why they weren’t included.

That's what I'm saying, there was one time where it happened and it was an issue by AC Farley and I don't know if it was colored at the time of its release or if it was later colored, but we all know that canonically like the Turtles and Casey all wear red, and in most later issues Splinter.

Yeah I never understand why people want/expect coloured bandanas. It's like expecting movie turtles with all red bandanas. It's not a thing. It makes no sense to do it.

@@joeferguson4174 well I think it’s just partially because people like the color and don’t care about accuracy in that case, it’s also noteworthy that the 2003 turtles are very similar in design aside from the color bandannas and also different shades of green so that might be part of it, people want the 2003 turtles and these with different colors would be exactly that. Either that or they don’t know that Mirage never once had color bandannas, IDW also started with red but switch so they might think Mirage had a switch at least once.

I wish they would do a new release of the mirage style Turtles that they released 15+ years ago. Even if they were partially or entirely new sculpts... still keeping that same basic look, but being different enough to tell apart from the originals, that would be fine. It would at least "scratch that itch" for those who don't have them. There are probably a lot of people following Neca's TMNT lines now that didn't know about them back then. And while it is cool that they went ahead and continued that line all of these years later, it kind of stinks for those who weren't aware at that time.

The molds have been "lost". Hence all the bootlegs over the years. Neca would have to resculpt them if they were going to make that style again.

All the accessories have come with other figures so far. The "box" with Mikey are space handcuffs that came with Fugitoid and Donny's tools came with the Utrom.

I'm one of those that are still waiting for my 4-pack. Ordered it before Christmas last year and was originally supposed to get it sometime last month. Latest update says sometime this month. I don't mind these single releases so much once I can get my 4 pack before these start to ship. Hopefully these individual packs will be more widely available so more people can get them. With regard to coloured bandana heads, Neca could make a head-pack and really clean up...

@@packrat2k7 well all of those accessories have come with other figures if I am not mistaken it’s just a matter of the fact that you get them there. I know Casey had that mask, the gun is from the Triceratons, the “box” is the cuffs from Fugitoid, that Utrom and the Mouser came with Splinter, the battle damaged head is from the Utrom, the Bow is from the Foot Soldier, and the Kama & Naginata are from the Michelangelo (The Wanderer). That just leaves the Shuriken which I bet are from something and then the mystery parts with Donnie which Idek what those are so they may or may not be from something

The heads are technically on the wrong body for those turtles specially. The way they were packed. But these boys have the red bandanas so it really comes down to being an anal person. Be well.

Honestly just customize it yourself or have someone else do it at that point. There are two things that NECA is more than likely 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 going to do. Releasing the '87 Turtles in Playmates colors, and doing the Mirage Turtles and multicolored headbands. Even like way back in the 2008 - 2009 line they weren't even doing it even though it was like the most asked for thing from them. the one thing they did do back then was recolored varients of April, and most of them are so rare that no one has them that's showing them or they were never released.

These should probably be available at target, Walmart, and bestbuy for brick and mortar stores. Any comic turtles figures don't stay exclusives for long. The wanderer is at target now. I've even seen it on Amazon for 25 bucks. It was only a bestbuy exclusive for like 8 months. I never found the four pack and I missed my chance on the necastore 4 pack. So I'm definitely getting these.

This reminds me of the neca toon pizza club figures that were released this year. Its great if you missed out on the original release, but the accessories are a missed opportunity. They could have included the original heads , just as these could have released heads with coloured bandannas

Agree this was a missed opportunity to give us colored bandana heads for these figures, especially after venturing to an "exotic" Target for the holiday last week where they had that image of these figures with their colors prominently displayed over their collector's area. I definitely want people to be able to get these figures, but at the same time can't help but feel a little bummed that they are releasing so close to those Target four packs without any significant changes or thrilling new accessories. At the end of the day these figures aren't for me and that is fine, but it makes me wish that NECA would rerelease some of the other Mirage figures I'm missing, specifically the shelf looks a little bare without a Mirage April, or start releasing the figures like Rat King or Leatherhead that we have seen at cons, but still have no information about when they are releasing.

I am conflicted. I got the 4-pack last year at Target, when they were near impossible to get. I'd like to get these. Those mousers are always great to have. But I also feel like passing on these in case they release a B&W version. I understand wanting the multi-color bandanas cuz that's what you're used to, but also you gottoaunderstand this is based off the Mirage line and this is primarily for Mirage comic fans, and in those Comics the multicolored headbands was not a thing, so to be honest it's not something that I would expect to see anytime soon down the line. Not only that but like only like a certain few of their figures sell very well in this line. In my local area I think I'm probably like the only person besides from maybe one other guy who's buying up all the Mirage stuff at Target. There's a red shirt Casey Jones figure that's been sitting there since January and I just got it a few days ago. The Mirage line is by far like they're least popular line, it still sells out though it is mostly scalpers

Since i have the 4-Pack i probably don't buy these but i have to say and was wondering that nobody noticed, the finally got Raphael an Michelangelo right. They got them packed wrong in the 4-Pack and so on all the promo picks, even on the new boxes the picture with all 4 Turtles is wrong. If you never noticed that, pop the heads off both of them, they have it written in there. Also these accessories are all things the use in the comic books. I probably don't need them but i think its cool to get some more stuff there.
