We don't have humming birds in New Zealand and I've only seen them briefly in Alaska and on Vancouver Island, so seeing this one in your garden was a real treat. Thank you so much for making this video.

Isn't it great watching a mama bird waiting for her babies to hatch. I was lucky enough to see in a bush right outside my window. The babies tweeting n mama comes to feed them. I don't know what kind of bird it was, but it was beautiful to watch. Hope your bird will soon be feeding the little one soon.

I have a bunch of little hummers that zip around in my back yard. Keeps the neighbor's cat entertained so much that the kitty has taken up perching on top of my pergola to watch. Rabins galore, hummingbirds, and a few others dominate and .... just one neighbor kitty, for now. Almost just the opposite of what is going on with Kitz Cats o' plenty at your place, and one quiet little huummer doing her thing.
