don't worry about that tutorial battle in the beginning, it's a scripted defeat! the type advantage is the standard "water > fire > grass > water" but there's a 4th type called "cosmic" that has no advantage or disadvantage to it. the monster in that tutorial battle had only cosmic type attacks, and a health bar of 99999 or something, so it would have been impossible to defeat anyways haha coincidentally i only started playing this game, like, last week lol so this playthrough appeared in the algo at the perfect time!
