A new arrival at Koala Creek... Burke the male Koala!

🐨 Longleat has a new arrival... Burke! A male koala from Osaka Tennoji Zoo who has arrived to join Longleat's Koala breeding programme.

🌏 He was originally born at Melbourne Zoo back in 2006 where he was named Burke, although in Japan he was known and loved as ‘Ark’. 🗾

🍃Burke will be getting settled in our Koala care room and will soon join the other koalas in Koala Creek, with the hope that in the future he can be officially introduced to our three koala girls.
