Kictor: TGCF: so romantic Tadaima Okaeri: THAT TRAUMA SHOW 😂😂😂😂😂 The appreciation for the voice acting always warms my heart. Morikawa Toshiyuki who voices Hiromu is nicknamed the BL Emperor. He voiced so many BL drama CDs and he enjoys doing it.

I was really hoping to see your reaction to Hinata looking like a freaking kaiju while crawling around. 😂 I just love how expressive she is for an infant, whether it’s fidgeting with her hat; trying to comfort a distressed Michiru; or switching from scared to excited when she recognizes her big brother among a group of new faces. 😊

I feel like Hiro has been the most "green flag" representation of a possessive/jealous husband I've ever seen in awhile. He makes his emotions clearly known, but not in any form of oppressive way. He remains calm when Masaki is talking about this strange man he's never met, who's also an Omega (the "right" type for Masaki by society standards), and had an Omega wife who reminds him of Masaki (messy indeed). Any other anime dude would have been raging at this point, and it would have been romanticized as them just passionately showing their "love". But Hiro just embraces him (tightly lol) and pushes back against Masaki taking this kid in. But he then continues to hear Masaki out, and eventually puts Masaki's feelings of empathy toward Michi over his own feelings of jealousy. It was a small scene but it's just so refreshing to see because jealous lovers are always displayed with so much romanticized toxicity in shoujo and bl in general.

Fun little voice actor trivia: Michi's dad Aoto's voice actor voices Ugetsu from Given However, Masaki's voice actor also voiced Ugetsu but in the Drama CD (Given's anime and drama cd casts are different)

Another fun fact: Hiromu’s VA has a title among the BL world and that is “TEIOU” which means EMPEROR. His carrier in BL world is so vast and well known (his name is Morikawa Toshiyuki), also he often play as a seme role in many BL drama CD, BL games & BL anime (i.e. gakuen heaven, super lover, mo dao zu shi (jpn dub), saigo no door wo shimeru (close the last door), wild adapter)

as a manga reader and have reread the manga multiple times, Michi's dad is not an ALPHA, he and his wife were both omegas. michi is also an omega. mochizuki has a deep hatred towards an alpha that's why he didn't get married to an alpha or get close to any alphas

Just hoping they're not as touchy feely as HIkaru and Kaoru 🤣 But based on the opening it looks like their role is going to be pushing Yuki and Matsu's buttons, so hopefully we get some development there 👀

Right. I think it was last ep where Matsu and Yuuki had a discussion about meeting families and Yuuki hoping Matsu's family would like him. That convo was likely a set up for the twins meeting him.

I'd have to go back and double check but I'm 90% sure that the new guy mentioned that his spouse (edit: he doesn't use any pronouns for but refers to as his son's mother) AND his whole family were omegas and as the norm for this world is alpha x alpha, omega x omega pairs, I had assumed he was an omega throughout the entire episode. xD I was actually waiting for for Masaki to drop the bomb that HIS spouse is actually an alpha, not an omega as would be more typical to assume in this world.

He says (about being an omega) "My whole family's the same, including Michi. My late spouse was an omega, too." And refers to his spouse as Michiru's mother. 🤔 I had assumed that meant the spouse was a female omega, since the show has been avoiding ever explicitly calling Masaki a mother as Hikari calls him Ma-cha and no one else mentions it directly. It looks like the story is intentionally keeping these details vague, but as being and omega x alpha couple is considered controversial, I would be surprised if Mochizuki was an alpha, he would more likely either be a beta born from an omega family or an omega himself.

This is, spoilers??? I don't know, is more of my own interpretation. So in the manga it isn't clear but I think he is an omega as well as his child, and I think his wife was a woman so we got canonically the first Omega woman just for her to be dead 😅 but this is just my interpretation. It's confusing because of the way they refer to omegas in this story.

In this world, most people marry within their type, so it makes sense for him to be an omega as well as his wife/spouse and child.

A lot of times, pronouns can be gender neutral in Japanese. It's easy to get frustrated with the pronouns.

@@blubeagle55It's mostly because Hiromu uses Yome to refer to Masaki that is confusing. It seems that in this world it is the norm to call omega men and women that way, which brings up a question: In this world, omega women don't exist? If there are only omega men, does it mean that humanity is slowly evolving to continue the species? If so, then discrimination against omegas would make sense since what would be a person who is neither a woman nor a man...but the people around him seem accustomed to the presence of omegas so it's more like a prejudice towards them than a taboo... But it doesn't matter, it's not that kind of story and I would never get those questions answered. This is just me being delulu here 🤪

@@Shelsy12 Typically, all omegaverses that I'm used to are all men. It's only been fairly recently that I've seen female omega/alpha/beta relationships.
