Very inspiring Maury. I’m happy you’re moving on. Keep up your spirits and stay happy. Believe it or not you helped me get through a lot after my wife passed away from cancer. So I know the feeling. I bought my Hymer after finding your channel and your content helped me with tons of preventative maintenance. Just like you I’m finding my center and moving forward as best as I can. Thank You for your help my friend. 🙏🏼

Wow Dennis….that really means a lot, thank you so much. That kind of loss is so unfair. I’m glad I have been able to help in some small way though, and I’m glad you are finding your path. Take good care….

Sending you really good thoughts for your new chapter in life Maury. I broke my back at 37 and spent years basically staring at the ceiling, now I'm fixed and don't spend on wasting one minute of my life as nothing is guaranteed so I feel you in some small way my friend :)

You already know how I feel about you getting back out there after the cancer scare, but I'll say it again - I'm of course thrilled that you recovered well and are moving on and starting to travel again. Enjoy that PNW trip. Wish I was there with ya, but maybe you'll meet me in Michigan!!!! 💕

I enjoyed this video and feel like I know you as a friend. I met you at the Hymer Aktiv meetup in Quartzite a year ago last January. I’m the guy that loaned you a jacket when it was really cold. I Hope you have a great trip to Washington and around the west. Maybe we’ll see you in Arizona some time. (Jim & Sherri)

Thank you Maury for making this video. I didn’t realize you were in IT, no idea why but all this time I thought you used to be a police officer. You’re sending a great message about what little time we have and to get out there and make things happen NOW. I’m excited for your adventure up north. I’m just SW of Portland so wave as you go by lol. Looking forward to following along.

It’s funny how things work out the way they do. Even when it feels as if we’re going through (or went through) the worst thing in our life, there are still lessons to be learned. I’m glad I met Rosie (“Chellie” lol) for many, many reasons but one of those is because I got to meet you and I’m glad to know you! I look forward to the next chapter and your future videos. I’m living vicariously through your travels! lol ❤️❤️❤️

It's nice to hear your story, Maury. I've commented on other videos but felt the need to let you know again that I'm so glad to have found your channel through Amber's. As I get older, I have had some moments where I too realized the path that I'm on had and has a reason and purpose. Currently going through a divorce and feeling the need to travel more. understand your desire to live life and enjoy it while we have it. Inspiring story, thanks Maury.

Thank you for your kind words. We have a tendency to put things off, without ever knowing if we will be able to get around to them. I focus now on doing what is fulfilling, and trying to avoid the negative things that are so easy to get sucked into. Thank you for sharing, it sounds like you are about to start a new journey of your own. ❤️

I just started watching videos on your channel - I just bought a Hymer and you have some great stuff there. In viewing I got to see over the course of a day how you changed over those years. The early videos you look pensive, not sad but also not happy. In this one, despite your problems, you look happy, more comfortable in your own skin and as far as one can tell, have peace of mind. Good for you. I hope to run into you on the road someday. We can complain about how long it takes a carrier to pull fiber into a new building and share other IT war stories. Take care.

Thank you John. If I look back, those early days were full of me trying to find myself after my career. Later, cancer and Covid made things cloudy. Now, I am finally starting to feel like things will be ok. Don’t get me started on how many months it takes to run fiber into a new facility lol

I've been married more than once. Spent 20 years on active duty in the Army and did a lot of traveling. Still, I love to travel. Last year was supposed to be my "Ron 2.0 year...this year is shaping up a little better, but I plan to do as much traveling as I can, locally, United States, outside the borders (if they open up). Be safe, have fun and do your thing! I am a firm believer that there is a reason we come into contact with others, even if we don't see, or know it. Even now, I tell all my friends that if you want to do something, the time is always "now" because we are not promised tomorrow.

Thanks for the intro, found you through Amber. Went through something similar with the work thing - devoted to helping build the business, then it all turns to crap. Retired now & trying to work out the best way to travel solo for extended periods while keeping my home base. Love the Rialto but hesitant about the amount of renovation & repairs that seems to be needed. Can't afford something new! FYI it was a little hard to get your channel to come up in the KZbin search.

The Rialta is good if you enjoy tinkering. If someone just wants a turnkey rig that they don’t have to think about, it’s probably not a good choice. Not that they are inherently unreliable, but if something DOES go wrong, parts can be hard to find sometimes.
