A new better way of using Xcode under Rosetta

how did you update google maps and other compiled on intel to work without rosetta ?

I’m not sure if I got it, you would like to update Google maps to work without Rosetta? Google has recently released Apple Silicon version of Maps sdk, so you can use it. If you have other 3rd party dependencies that you can’t compile yourself, I made a video some time ago how you can make a workaround. But this is just a hack which doesn’t work that well. New destination architectures is much better solution 👍

Hi thanks for sharing, but can i know how to run this using CLI command npx react-native run-ios --simulator="iPhone 14 Pro (Rosetta)" this is not working. so can you please tell me how to run in CLI

Unfortunately, I don't use react native so I can't help with this one. I have just checked if those Rosetta simulators will show up in terminal, but when listing them: "xcrun simctl list" there are only the regular ones.

Hi @@jayantht5654 bro Which error are you facing ? to run the app using command line for devices you need to add this on pod file installer.pods_project.targets.each do |target| target.build_configurations.each do |config| config.build_settings["EXCLUDED_ARCHS[sdk=iphonesimulator*]"] = "arm64" end end and then you need to update Destination Architectures on xcode so to do that open xcode naviagate to Product where you can find on top bar, Product -> Destination -> Destination Architectures -> show both Now you select the simulator with rosetta then you run CLI command on terminal you can able to run it.
