A good start point for India. In the end of 2017,there are 31 cities in mainland China and 10 cities in India operated metro system. Shanghai has 631kilometer metro(exclude maglev and suburban railway), and longest in the world(shanghai operated first metro line in 1993). Still India made a good job and hope delhi Mumbai Bangalore could reach same amount of Metro railway in Shanghai one day . Congratulations to the amazing metro

Now everybody has the responsibility of keeping it clean. People should not spit tobacco, write/scratch on the walls, throw around burnt cigarettes, peanut shells. Neither allow others to do so. In Chicago too L trains makes same noise.

Its a double line section ( 2 tracks ). Each track has a separate tunnel hence it appears like single. :)
