A new chapter in my amazing adventures, living full-time in my jeep Cherokee XJ

This is my new chapter as I’m heading into a new year, where I am committed to make better videos, and more interesting videos and to do more exploring, and have more adventures and to kick life‘s ass and live the dream on the road.
So I am John I’m 69 years old. I’ve been living in my jeep Cherokee XJ for 4 1/2 years now.

The journey and the people you meet are all part of the adventure. When I was in Canada, I met so many people along the way, but never got a picture. In 2024. I’m definitely gonna put more effort into taking people I meet.

Happy holidays Major. The jeep is still going strong but I’m getting worried about the transmission.. if I can get another 25,000 more miles out of it and one more big trip to Canada and into the northwest territory I will be happy. I would hate to have that transmission go on me when I’m 150 miles in the backwoods with nobody around except grizzly Bears.

@@northernmichiganxjsoverlan3326 well, that’s pretty awesome. These Sand dunes here on holidays like Thanksgiving, and Christmas becomes a nightmare. Thousands and thousands of RVs, with their they side-by-side come here to camp. I think my most remote, off-road adventure was Canol Rd up in the Yukon. Beautiful scenery and a lot of grizzlies. I never did a video of that and I’m kicking myself in the ass for not doing that.

Absolutely, I have no storage bin or any house or apartment to escape to. Everything I own is in my jeep. I am homeless, but I am homeless by choice because I love the freedom to go places Nobody else can go to and just explore. I called this living the dream.
