Hi! I’m a behavioral therapist, and I recommend leaving the toys at home before school. When he’s older and can handle the transition better, it’ll be fine but to teach him that home toys stay home and there’s toys at school to play with. This will prevent the crying once he gets into school :) love you guys!!

Destiny, I am a kindergarten teacher and his behavior is 100% normal. This is his first time ever away from home and his first time in school. He is adjusting to a new environment, new people, and a new routine! It is normal for him to feel all the emotions. The first few months of school are always tough for the little ones, but he will find his routine. He is learning so much new information everyday so it will be a while until he can absorb it all and adjust to his new schedule. He is going to thrive😍😍 I love your videos 🤍

This is completely normal (I’m an ECE!) it usually takes a good 8 weeks for children to fully settle in to a change! Don’t worry it will get better my girl went thru the same ❤

I have been wanting to say this to you guys for a while. First I love you and juju like yall are my family. I work with kids like koko everyday. I know yall have gotten him tested but he shows signs of autism and he is nonverbal. Now it's nothing wrong with that but you need yo start now with getting him the help he needs before he actually reach kindergarten school. It would be such a disservice to him not to get him all the services he need. I love yall and take this with much love

Love patience understanding to you all school is a big adjustment so it will take time but you all got this koa is very sweet handsome and mom and dad you are both doing great remember to show koa that you both are calm before school cause the kids feed off our energy

Hi! Please don't disregard Koa's reaction when he goes to school. Not to be negative but having my kids go through it myself, maybe a kid is pushing him or rude that the teacher is not telling you. Maybe it's the teacher? Ask questions.

Maybe yes, but also possibly not. At the beggining kids might be exited for preschool after week or so get bored with routine looking at the fact that there is more dyscypline at school. Kids need to adjust to new things , especially at this age kids do not know that preschool gonna be everyday its not only couples times . My daughter was excited first week then she started not wanting to go because her father was at home , if he is not at home she doesnt have problem to go to school . But she is grumpy every morning ,she doesnt like wake up early . she behaves at school normally and never complain . I Ask her many questions after school and she us always on good mood after i pick her up from there

I fixed the problem long story short !!!!!! And now all is ok def ask questions observe with these type of things you can be nieveee desss

Or he’s just used to being with mommy/daddy 24/7. It took my 4 yr old 3 1/2 yrs to get used to school. She barelyyy is finally telling me she wants to go 😂 and it’s been the same students, same teachers etc. she just has FOMO without me lol

Dont ignore the signs/red flags there’s always a reason behind being fuzzy/crying etc when dropping off. I went through it with my daughter I also thought it was because it was new and she wasn’t used to it but found out it was because caretaker was hitting my daughter with a metal spoon on her hand.

There’s actually research that shows preschool is super beneficial for children. Kids can be kids at school it’s not like they’re sending him to clock in at a job lol. He’s around kids playing and socializing, he’s fine.

All 3 of my children started pre-school at 3 years old. We both had to work. Thanks to my great aunt and my middle daughter's godmother taking care of her at 6 months on when I went back to work. My son is the only one I was home with for 2 years full time though. All 3 spoke very well and we were comfortable to send them. I taught 1-2 graders, it's important for children to get into routine for school and socialize with other children their age group.
