Of course it’s fine to Work a 9-5 because majority of the world does it. And not everyone works corporate and I think when people say 9-5 there’s such a negative stigma because people think dead end or low end jobs. I love my corporate job and I work remote 100% and the salary and benefits are AMAZING!!!😭😭😭 and you’re right hustle culture is a big old scam! I love STABLE income.

I’m 27 and I completely get all of this! I’m glad you distinguished between content creation and influencing. Influencing can become draining because every facet of your life needs to be or is perceived to be marketable essentially. Creating content on your time when you feel inspired to do so for one seems more organic in my opinion and two isn’t as taxing to the creator. You had enough self awareness to know what works for you and *that* is the real power! Very happy for you!

I LOVEEEE this for you. I turned 30 in March and one of the things I've been turning over in my mind is the concept of proportions. Sometimes we're misaligned not because we're necessarily doing the wrong things, but because the proportions are off. Learning what to do more or less of is a huge, huge deal, and as I've leaned into the more or the less, I'm finding that the things that no longer serve me are falling away. I'm so happy you've made a decision that's best for YOU and what YOU want in YOUR life.

One girl I know quit her job so she can be self employed and she admitted that it was difficult and her business only made $20,000 a year. She is going back to school.
