A new design for the Iveco Van doors (and new lock and handle)

For the third time in 25 years we had to change the lock and door handle of the Iveco passenger side door. Because the whole interior of the door has to be dismantled anyway, it seemed a good idea to change the design of the interior door panel.

Since 1999, a family member! With all the technical repairs it should last another 10 years at least (if we are still able to buy diesel by then).

The most environmental way to get around... build/buy one car and use it all your life, the little pollution it produces while driving doesn't compare to buying a car over and over again. I'm afraid modern cars just are not build with that in mind. Only problem are those door handles, the only parts that are made out of plastic (and there are no alternatives).

Just a few projects that need to be done Mark, so they're finished and there's room for more creativity. I guess we had a bit to much lazy sundays, mondays, tuesdays... etc. Now on to the next! All the best from the Lonesome Hill

Its good to see some motivation returning Gerrit and a nice job. Im trying but my shoulder injury is still causing limitations. No strength and limited stamina. I did manage some simple engine maintenance on the car but it took two days to achieve successfully.
