When reviewing these irons people keep saying that the Black Ops are PXGs first foray into super game improvement irons. They seem to be forgetting about the 0211 Z hybrid irons which were marketed for beginners, high handicappers, and anyone looking for extra forgiveness.

These irons are crazy, I think Dave should play these Aw-5 iron, hybrid 3 or 4, 3 wood, and Driver.

Great video look fabulous must try them! As a senior with a club speed of 74 and hit my 7 iron 140 yards they could be perfect. My front runners so far T350, ZX4, and Cobra Darkspeed the first two quite pricey though.

Pxg full fitting will pretty much match any shaft to any swing speed @@sevesellors2831

How do these differ from the 0211 XCORE2?

I have the 0211s. These black ops appear to be notably larger and wider. Much chunkier overall. Other than that they appear very similar. Black Ops also has X Core 2. I don't know if the Lofts differ

Technically, I think they fall into the players distance category. They are just really really forgiving players distance irons

Not true Chris. PXG have made game improvement irons before. I have a set of 0311 SGI (Super Game Improvement) irons that I purchased a couple of years ago. Wide soled, hollow bodied with forged faces and I love them. Most KZbinr’s dismissed them when they came out as I never saw a proper review of them from anyone other than The Average Golfer and even he wouldn’t hit them.
