A NEW FACE FOR ARIEL! / Repainting a BIG ARIEL DOLL HEAD / Poppen Atelier

Today I will give a new face to a big Ariel styling doll head, I want her to look super realistic and for this I will remove her old face with pure acetone and then I will draw a new Ariel face using watercolor pencils and soft pastels.

I would have to say I would love to see a "glow up" for Maleficent. I also think a "twisted" Briar Rose/Aurora would be cool. Like she might be becoming a real rose instead of just sleeping or something. Just a thought.

I would love to see what you would do with Repunzel. I love the big doll head makeovers because I can see just how detailed your work is. For example, you added green to Ariel’s eyes, and I was confused. But when you put on the glossy topcoat, they all of a sudden looked blue! Very cool!

Paint them all. Every single Disney Princess head you can get your hands on & custom make the ones you can't. LOL Watching you work helps me relax. I was really surprised by how Ariel came out. It amazes me what you can do with her verses what was put out for sale. If I was in charge of the original finished project, I'd be embarrassed after watching your video. A million times better! Definitely one of my favorite big heads! As for ideas for future dolls.. I would more fantasy dolls. Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter types of characters. I love to see some of princesses that aren’t as well known like Anastasia or the one from the Swan Princess. For spooky… maybe you could do some classic movie monsters! Also would love to see more superhero dolls. Oh oh! And more God/Goddess dolls! Greek/Roman, Egyptian, Hindu, Norse.. etc!!

The way you do the eyes on your dolls is so realistic it’s almost scary and it’s also my very favorite part of your doll makeovers. I love the entire process but the eyes… You have such an amazing talent and I find myself desperately wanting to do something creative every time I watch your channel. You inspire the creative part of my soul and I thank you for that because it’s a part that often gets pushed aside for “more important things” but I’m realizing that nurturing that part is important for my health (and sanity) too. Btw, I would love to see the Rapunzel oversized doll repainted by you, along with any others that you have. As for the Twisted Disney Series, I would love to see an evil Jasmine and Aladdin, or a kind Jafar. A Strong Cinderella who didn’t bow meekly to her stepmother and stepsisters. Maleficent as a helpful, kind sorceress (as she was portrayed in the animated film) instead of evil and cruel. Tinker Bell would be fun as well, maybe as a different sort of fairy or what she’d look like if she were human. ☺️

So beautiful, so realistic, super idea for twisted Disney, the big heads are my favorite. I think Ariel turned out really good! I like the repainting on the big dolls because it's much easier to see all the details you add. I thought it was cool that you had a purple metallic leaf for her shells, I expected you to use that iridescent/metallic looking paint you sometimes use. Even though Ariel doesn't have any freckles, I am surprised you resisted adding them to a red haired doll :P the painted necklace I didn't care for, but if you wanted to add an accessory a string of pearl beads would add a nice detail that would at least make sense. Good job, and I look forward to your next videos :D
