Ni-Ki said that when choreographing in a group, he did not express himself and emphasized that the dance lines of all the members were aligned. He wouldn't be dancing to appeal to himself at that time, but I'd love to see Ni-Ki someday seeing a dance that expresses himself to the fullest.

His famous “Puma Gaze!” Lol One of the main reasons he got the Puma 🐆 as his animal character in the group. He just demands your attention with staring straight at you when he dances! Love it!

Same! I watched I-Land from ep 1, and all the members are perfect match for the group, but Ni-Ki has been my bias since ep 1 just because of his work ethic, humbleness, eagerness to learn, respect for elders, clear talent, and maturity beyond his years. His parents and mentors did such a great job raising him into a gentleman!

@@kelkiegimm2420 thats so true. He caught my eyes since i land. Back then i joined a little bit late. At 6 or 7th ep. But he just was an raw diamond, and still was a teenager who is in his puberty, with his problems. I mean, he was only 14, and didnt know korean well. He struggled more than others in my opinon( Taki, Hanbin n other foreign liners too btw) Im so glad that he recover his confidence🤧

Ni-ki's parents manage their dance school in Japan, they're dance instructors. Ni-ki longed for Michael Jackson and started on dancing on 3 years old! After that Ni-ki and his older sister assembled a unit as kid's dancers for a while. Ni-ki was SHINee's kid's dancer and has arleady stood on Tokyo dome together with SHINee on their Japan tour!!! 😳⭐️ He went to Korea alone on 13 years old and became HYBE trainee in Korea! And he challenged and joined to 「i-land」 and finally debut on 2020, he was 14 years old then!!! He's really amazing!! He was serious to be No.1 artist in the world since when he was so young (small? )!!! So I can't stop respecting NI-KI !! 😭👏✨

I love his dancing because he isn't afraid to express so much fluidity in his moments. Usually in male kpop they mostly go hard at choreo but Niki has good balance

Thank you for your reaction. When NI-KI covered TAEMIN's "Sayonarahitori & Tiger" at the end of the video, he was just 11 years old before he was 12 years old. I was really surprised when I saw this. Because it was perfect and not a child's dance.

Thank you for looking at his Riehata choreo/ JB “Come Around Me” dance cover!! Riehata is one of Riki’s favorite choreographers (he mentioned that in I-Land). I hope you look at his dance with Rikimaru from pre-debut. Most of this mix is from when he was I-Land (the show which formed Enhypen) and Ni-Ki was just 14 then. It just shows how young our talented maknae is! He has had great mentors like Kento Mori and he has danced with great choreographers like Rikimaru. His parents own their own dance studio so Riki grew up dancing and even taught his own class before he left Japan. What you said about how much potential he has is so true. His mom taught him that it is about having fun dancing more so than being sure to get 100% of the moves perfect; During a fancall, a fan told Riki that they would love to do a dance battle with him. Ni-Ki replied that he doesn’t really like to “battle” with dancing, but he would LOVE to dance WITH them too and have fun together. All through I-Land Ni-Ki helped the others improve and learn the choreography, even though it was a competition and that could have hurt his own chance at debut. I am 33 and my mom is 60, and that just spoke volumes to us, that this 14yr old young man was so mature to put helping others ahead of himself. And even since debut Enhypen often puts Ni-Ki in the back or smaller parts even though he is the dance leader, but he still does all he can to make the group look the best they can without trying to steal the limelight. He is very humble and hardworking. I hope he will get some solo opportunities (maybe on the award shows coming up…). Love from the USA 🇺🇸! Thank you again for checking him out! I don’t know him personally or anything, but if anyone does, I hope they tell his parents they did a wonderful job raising a great son!

At the age of 3, Ni-ki saw Michael Jackson dance on TV, and was mesmerized. Soon he was doing MJ moves. It helped that his parents ran a dance studio so he was literally immersed in dance as he grew. It also gave him plenty of opportunities to perform and build his confidence.

You asked how old he was in the video, mostly when he was 14. Some when he was 15. The videos were not organized chronologically 😅. Also I saw his pre debut video one when he was 12. He’s been dancing since 3. He also instructed dance lessons young until he left for Korea at the age of 13. He learned ballet and many different dance genres. Also capable of doing acrobatics. He turned 16 on 12/09/2021.

Talking about NEW GENERATION of kpop dancers, there is this one youtube channel called: Trainee A They're rummored to be next BigHit boy group, and they have social media to already promote themselves!!! When I tell you these boys can dance, they can DANCE dance, for example boy named JJ is a first person ever to champion national dance battle twice in a row and he's from Japan, born in 2006!!! If you scroll down their videos (they don't have that much) you can react to dance videos they're posting, the videos are around 1min long and all of them are AMAZING, literally group of main dancers but my fave is James so far

For this video I believe he’s between 12 and 15. I’m pretty sure that he started dancing at around 3 and his family owns a dance studio which allowed him to get even more into it. One cool thing that isn’t brought up in this video is that he was also a dancer for Shinee when he was 11! I love watching him dance and I’m excited to see him continue to grow as he gets older and gets more experience!
