Greater #Dandenong in Victoria’s South-East is proudly Australia’s most culturally diverse region and home to the highest population of people seeking asylum in #Victoria.
Yet there is no central local service that can support people seeking asylum with all of their needs.
Instead, people have to visit multiple service providers to get help with things like food, housing, education, employment assistance and legal aid. This is taking a toll on peoples’ health and wellbeing and at worst, people aren’t getting the support they need and deserve.

A truly wonderful organisation that deserves your support. Please, I know times are tough, but thinks about those who have nothing...no family support, alienated in their country of birth seeking a safe life in the lucky country. I know what is was like arriving in Australia knowing no one. No family support. No friends. I was lucky as I arrived on an airliner with my young family on a PR Visa. I had some money that I was allowed to take out of the country I was leaving. And by god it was tough. I just can't imagine what it must be like to arrive penniless with no support. PLease consider supporting the ASRC...every single dollar counts and will enrich some poor refugee's life.
