I came here just to see how they wrote the binary sunset scene, and they just completely skipped over it?? I guess maybe it was only fleshed out during filming, because that scene is crucial to the film

@@gnarlax2005 This is a misread of the scene imo. It isn't just pure style, it's a very important look into Luke's character. As we see him look into the sunset, we feel how he longs for more than this simple life, how he yearns for the stars. The fact that this is spoken without words does not mean that it is not there.

If I remember it properly, red squadron was originally going to be blue squadron, but they changed it because you couldn't see it against the blue screen

The actual book from 1976 was luke being blue 5, but due to the fact that they were using a blue screen and not a green screen he was changed to red 5 thats also the reason why r2 is never blue in the space scenes he always shows up as grey
