Cat tips! They’ll usually come to you when they want some attention but other times they want to be alone as they’re a lot more independent than dogs. Every cat is so different personality and needs-wise. You’ll most likely know when a cat’s in play mode so I’d work out what the cat enjoys to burn energy with. Over time they’ll gain more trust :)

Tip for white clothes and stains, ( from experience: i had cranberry poured on my white trousers in a club a few years back) run under cold water then dap with a sponge and washing liquid then rinse with cold water and repeat it takes a while but it does work I got my jeans looking all new again. once you can't see the mark clearly wash in machine.

We've been dog sitting in Perth for the last few months and have more bookings up until the end of the year. We've saved literally thousands of dollars on accomodation amd got to experience loads of different suburbs, its honeslty amazing so glad you are doing it too!

Cats are so different than dogs! They may take a little while to warm up to you and might go through phases of being super clingy to super distant and independent. Would literally just give it a while for them to get used to being around you. They can be super affectionate once they get comfortable with you! With regards to your skirt :(( definitely try a stain remover (vanish/ the pink stuff) the pink stuff is amazing with food based ones if they sell it out there so maybe try that if you find it it might work on the dye ! Also I think you’re wearing your eras crewneck for part of this? Pls give tips on how to wash her new merch I’ve heard so many horror stories!

Definitely do a road trip to Wilson's prom! Such a beautiful place and lovely hikes. We parked at mount Oberon and hiked to little Waterloo bay. Driving on roads with trams is not as bad as it seems, I've done it a few times now and it's been scary but absolutely fine!

Always let cats smell your hand before trying to stroke them, usually it makes them more comfortable and more open to being stroked :)

Love this! my parents are professional housesitters now, been doing it for 5 ish years. travelling europe / australia for 18 months at a time and have even had stays for 6 months straight at times. Such a good way to travel on a budget and see places you wouldnt normally see.

Whenever you stain something, soak it in cold water immediately! Not sure why but this always lifts the stain, then I either put bleach or stain remover on it then put in the wash with washing liquid ☺️

1. Scrub with washing up liquid to break it down and then washing machine Or 2. Bicarb and vinegar - make into a paste and leave on the stain. Then wash again

I always use dettol mould and mildew spray on white clothes. It has Bleach in it so don't use it on anything with colour. Put the skirt in the bath and spray the area with dettol mould and mildew, then soak it in water for a few hours. Then put it in the wash and it should come out perfect 👌

I'm super late so at this point you probably already got rid of the stain in your skirt but actually white clothes (really white, not cream!!) are the easiest to remove stain because you can just use bleach, so there also should be plenty of products for clothes with a bit of bleach in it :)

Cats will tend to give you a warning before they go for you if you’re doing something they don’t like. Just keep an eye out for those signs. For example, mine hates having the top of her back legs scratched so she will tend to flinch and narrow her eyes, if you keep going she will rest her teeth on your hand (not actually biting, just warning), and if you don’t stop, then she will bite.

As a kid I spilt coronation chicken on a white skirt 😮 we hand washed it and it didn’t come out but hanging it out in the sun to dry bleached it

Also, when you work in a bar I know you have to get an alcohol license but just checking do you have to pay for it or the employer? I thought we had to pay but I’ve also been told the employer pays so I’m confused haha xx

Hahahaha very valid, you have to be approved to use the website we were using, and I think they do basic background checks, plus the lady asked for copies of our passports/ID if anything does happen it’s pretty obvious it was us haha! But there’s also definitely a big element of trust!! Xx

Skirt tip: Vanish! If Aussie's have Vanish or a version, rub that stuff in and soak for a while! Keep an eye, works fab 👍 Housesitting- PLEASE give some tips! I've been considering doing this when I move to Aus next year. What company/website did you use? Sounds fab! Cats: they're very independent, they'll come to you when they want attention and it's usually when you're doing something/trying to sleep 😂 Have the best time with Riley!❤
