Man, I consume your content like crazy for for the last (more than a few that is) years. I used several of your pieces in our very first DnD campaign. And you are right - the beauty has always been in the escapism.

When I listen, you know what I see? I see a world, a traveler standing a top a verdant hill. They eye the landscape, taking in the air as they watch the wind blow from the fields below. Villages are scattered onto the horizon. Just then, a large shadow passes overhead. As if beckoned, the traveler chases after the shadow before it cuts to them running through a village's dirt roads, then a castle plaza and then the throngs of a market. They ascend snow capped mountains, trek through forest lit up in purple light, leap across chasms inside giant gemstone caves and even dive into the deep blue of the ocean. Each and every turn, they see something wonderous, whether the moss covered robotic relic sleeping in the fields or a giant whale swimming across the sky, a flock of birds that fly across the night sky like shooting stars and so much more. Eventually, their travel comes to a stop, they take a seat by the campfire, stare at the flames with a smile, before quietly drifting into sleep with a journal next to them.
