A preschool would absolutely adore the leftovers after you cut out the ovals! I send my offcuts to preschool. Put them in a nifty gift box you just happen to have and they'll love you forever! My last one was plain black...

Instead of dabbing off with a tissue on the ones that looked like too much ink, I'd have taken a blank card front and kissed the 2 together so no wasted ink! Two-fer.

BLESS YOU for wearing gloves and owning up to it! My card making friends always make fun of me for wearing gloves but I am just not into inky fingers. I am happy to have found a fellow card maker that actually wears gloves. Your video is awesome! I love that technique and will try it out tomorrow! ❤
@SashaReade Жыл бұрын
ha ha, when it's messy like this, i feel like gloves are necessary, honestly you can get so stained. I reuse mine over and over until holes appear. id rather use gloves than be covered for days in strong colours. :)
@SantaFeLady Жыл бұрын
@@SashaReade I'm the exact same way! I also reuse my gloves over and over. And some things like the Brusho crystals will stay on your hands for days and days! I am so happy to have found a like-minded card maker 🤗💜

Nice background and cards. You can use Tim Holtz microGlaze to seal the finish and still be able to easily stamp on it. Plus, if there is any dullness in your finish, it brightens it right up🦋

Great video. Some ideas - When punching out the ovals, do it as far as you can to one side and you will have enough left to make a tag or a side panel for a new card. The ones you have cut the ovals from the centre could be put on a card and stamp a sentiment in the middle and place one of your bows at the top or bottom with a bit of greenery to look like a wreath frame. Hope that all makes sense tfs

I've only just seen this video, and it's great! I hope I can retain everything until I'm able to play, once we're past Christmas, when peace lands in my home again. Background stamps! It took me ages to buy any, as I'd made my own mixture from the little stamps that most sets include, especially anything to do with flowers and foliage. Either I'd leave them on an acrylic block for a while before changing them around, for making a lot of bases, or use my platform for a day's worth. I liked mixing them up, which of course can't be done with a proper background stamp. Have a happy Christmas, everyone! A better year ahead would be good, too 😘🌻
