I literally had a dream last night that Starkids made a new musical about a post-apocalyptic world where the only currency is dogs. There’s an eccentric old man living in a spooky mansion in the forest with his 5 children and a talking horse. The children (and horse) were raised in the mansion without any knowledge of how the outside world works. The old man knows he’s gonna die soon, so he has to write up his will. He dies in a dramatic way and shenanigans ensue when the children (and horse) realize that the only way for them to maintain their bougie lifestyle is if they personally care for 15,000 dogs. The main song-and-dance number has a chorus like “tHteRe’s JuSt TOo mAnY DoGs!!” Anyways, happy Thursday.
