Arena is busted as hell, I used to use all my tokens in gold 4 now I only do the 5 matches for the daily quest and let all my tokens expire, I’ve fallen down to silver 3 or something don’t even care anymore. Haven’t upgraded a great hall in over a month. Never do FW anymore never do 3s arena anymore, it all feels like work. I use my energy and my CB keys that’s it. Every time they address arena concerns it gets much more difficult, they need to undo all the changes they have made to arena this YEAR and start over. Literally make it as it was 1/1/2020 and go from there.

If you're having trouble in the bracket you're in, then you don't have a decent enough team. The bracket label doesn't determine what a decent team is, the level of competition does.

Tim Kinisky Well so I have apoth with 247 speed, stag knight with 207 speed and 228 acc, talia with 4K atk and 200 crit damage, and MM with 74K hp... I definitely think that should be good enough to win some battles in silver one.

I am also at silver 1, offensively I don't see anything drastic, a little less legendary teams, but not that significant. What I feel more significant is my defensive logs, I start to get more wins defensively since the update, and I haven't need to claw myself back offensively when I did drop to Bronze 4.

Arena is still hard. I am stuck at Bronze 3 to 4 and I am seeing legendary like Prince Kimar and Arbiters Tag Teag arena is no different My team is of a 6 star Sethallia, Zargala and Tayrel and a 5 star Gorgorab

If you have problem with these heroes than you should look for other posibilities for you, i have i think worse champions than you fo arena apothecary, rearguard seargent, robar, and galek and im strugling in bornze 4/silver1 but the true is that i dont have the best equipment on them, if i had right equip then i think then i wuld be in silver 4/gold ... So think about equipment if you have good boots, chest and gloves and of course sets are important too.

They should make more tiers after platinum and make platinum and all that below without player limit. This will end up for the whales being not powerful enough, chill on platinum and below people can finally get their quests, missions and marks. Make emerald, ruby, diamond tiers with better rewards and some player limits and call that PvP only place. No quests there or marks to earn, just rewards.

Arena is still broken. I was at gold 4 went all the way to silver 2 . In my humble opinion the only way to "fix" the arena is to open up the platinum and gold levels to allow more players in that might eliminate some of the bottleneck of having 90% of the players in the silver and low gold levels. A 25% increase in the players allowed in the higher levels would go a long way toward balancing the arena.

Personally I have not noticed differences in arena. However, I heard a few players telling me they have noticed differences in bronze and 3v3 specifically. Looking forward to the void tower! Hope it’s friendly for new players as well as end game players. Scaling could make this great or awful.

The inactive players werent the big cause of the arena problems besides their presence in the lower bronze tiers. Nowadays many players have better accounts and alot of them are using either speed optimised nuke teams or unoptimised beefy leggo teams. And this starts to take place around bronze 4 / silver 1. You will eventually outgrow these teams if you keep playing but it will take a long time to do so. This grinding is not a bad thing except for the arena mission rewards being totally misplaced nowadays. You can skyrocket through the missions and then get stuck for 2 months trying to farm 800 silver medals.

it's not that arena needs to be easier, just fair. I literally woke up one morning from being in gold 4 for months to find myself in silver 4. I had to fight through multiple siphi/rotos teams, ridiculously fast arbiter teams, hegemons, etc... in silver just to get back to gold. Did a lot of players spend a lot of $$$ to get to plat, realized that the rewards are still terrible, and gave up to play a better game

They have to make platium bigger, the first 4 days after restart is Hard as hell, start with the Best in platium, and it Will be more friendly in gold, silver, bronze.

I used to hover between Gold 3 and Gold 4, then I changed my defense to one champion to try and farm the arena for one week, about 4 months ago. I dropped down to Bronze 3. It’s been a serious struggle just to get back to gold at all. I still can’t even stay in Silver 4 consistently. It seemed to be easier for the first day the patch came out then got hard again.

Have not really noticed that the arena has gotten easier and I'm level 53 but stuck between Bronze II and Bronze III. I have yet to progress out of Bronze III.

We have no idea what they did to arena. What does "Active" mean? Does it mean playing in arena or just logging into the game. There are probably TONS of whales and end game players logging in occasionally and doing some CB and such and then logging out and skipping arena entirely. Are they inactive or active? Will there be a mass exodus in a day when arena resets for the first time since patch? They have told us nothing and we have seen no results.

This was never going to be an immediate fix to the arena (if it's a fix at all) - and that much was, frankly, obvious. Even with inactive defenses out of the way, you still have a lot of powerful players who were previously stuck in low bronze who will need to slowly climb as things gradually shake out in the wake of such a change as we saw. When a player is inactive, they reset to being unranked and must start again from bronze 1 when they pick the game back up again. Thus, they wind up having to climb back up through the ranks again, despite having powerful teams, causing huge headaches to newbies. There are several things that can be done about this, none of which are simply "remove inactive teams from the defense list." One is removing the rank decay, allowing people's defensive losses to maintain balance. You could supplement this by requiring that players participate in a certain number of offensive battles in order to be eligible for reward chests at the reset (so people can't just reap effortless rewards). Another is adapting the matchmaking algorithm to present people with defense teams based on team power rather than just player arena rank. Or perhaps create some compound metric that involves team power, champion rarity, and perhaps other things such as player level. Another necessary change is this: rather than capping all tiers at flat numbers of players that do not adapt to the playerbase, cap them all at fixed percentages.

Arena feels like it has actually gotten harder for me lately. I also stopped arena for a while and fell from Gold 4 to Gold 2 and I am having a really hard time getting back to Gold 4

I've noticed it does match me up with players on my level, i'm not being matched up with players that have 350K/400K player power anymore. Seems like it's gotten better for me. No, I don't have easy matches, but i'm also not matched up with over powered players either.

They screwed up tag-team-arena in the last patch. Before I was using up all my tokens, now I can barely find any matches that I can win, and I'm still at the same Bronze II tier I was before the patch.

Its only become more difficult. While the variance seems to have stabilized a bit, the matchups just seem to be consistently too unbalanced. As an example, in bronze 4/silver 1, I used to get higher power #'s in the opposing teams, but I also got lower #'s more often. Like I'd see swings from my power or a bit less, 72k ish, up to 180k or 190k. Now everything is high, just not as high. Like everyone's consistently 140-150k. Which are really just undoable for my team at the moment, so whatever stabilization occurred didn't help. It just made the teams consistently impossible to beat.

My low spend account is sitting in silver 2 and i've not noticed tons of difference. Probably a few of the insane teams have disappeared but overall teams are way stronger than you would need to complete the non-arena progression missions which surround the arena missions for rank 4 great hall upgrades and hit silver 2. My FTP account is sitting in bronze 4 and i've not noticed a ton of difference. Again just a drop in insane power teams but still the overall level of teams is way too high compared to mission progression. I wonder if things will improve as players who were overpowered for their tier but sititng there because of all the inactive teams move up BUT those teams moving up will be replaced with teams falling down from above so unlikely to matter. In the end you probably won't see much of a shift until teams from bronze 1 migrate up lowering the average power of bronze 2 and that SLOWLY inches its way up the ranks since bronze 1 is the only tier where you cen get a load more people going up than fall down from above.

There are multiple issues in classic arena. Mostly the 'team power' number needs to be fixed. An accurate value is needed. The issue of difficulty in the lower tiers, in my experience as an f2p, is that there are still alot more spenders in the arena. I am stuck in bronze 4 and have been for awhile. I have been playing for about a year and the issue is the 'team power' and composition of the opposing teams is not at all accurate. A level 50 good epic in high-end gear is impossible for a level 60 lego in decent gear. The numbers in this game are largely arbitrary and hold no assesment value. Being a server-based grouping system, instead of a level-based grouping system promotes unbalanced player matching i.e. whales vs f2p. Most of the complaints are, in my opinion, based on the grouping system rather then issues of non-active players, therefore cannot be "fixed". The necessary "fixing" is related to the inaccurate matching of players based on 'team power', which is in desperate need of fixing.

Silver 2 on my main has had no change since the 2.12 update went live. Bronze 1 to 2 on my referral-alt hasn't changed either. Unless there is a significant change at the start of the new season, I'm going to say this was probably an Epic fail as far as trying to fix the Arena. The 3v3 Arena in Bronze 2 has gotten significantly HARDER. I'll most likely drop back into Bronze 1 on season reset. I have been in Bronze 2 for the last two weeks fairly comfortably.

Hopefully, eventually, they will weed out the "inactive" accounts and that will help but I dont see it helping much.

Bronze I is getting better. Used to be a wall of ascended 60es so it would take all day to get five wins, let alone 20. I have a 35K attack team and a 2K defense so I can beat other newbies and they can beat me, getting us both bronze medals. These days there are only a few teams higher than me, probably people who have just returned from a break. Hopefully they will be at gold by the time I move up to farm silver medals. There were still some big boys in Bronze II last I peeked in there though, so I guess it takes time, just as you said.

Arena seems like it may have improved VERY slightly... I'd been hovering around high silver 1 for months before the patch but, after was able move into low silver 2. It's really too small of a difference to tell if the patch is the reason or if its luck of the team draw. That being said, why can't they just remove/change the arena mission requirement?

AFK wasn't the problem, the power creep was, ppl with lvl 40 with Hegemon is, your idea of adding "bots" (examples of team in this elo) or NOT losing points in bronze and x0,5 pts loss in silver was good I reached silver 1 but can't climb more, i'll climb more when my Skullcrown will be 60 and Kreela ! (f2p and got them during this event)

The arena fix (as best I can tell from the info available) was not an "instant" fix. They did not remove the inactive teams in one shot. It may take time for the new algorithm to show results. I'm not claiming the fix is good, but I think it's too early to say it's a fail either.

Well, I am still stuck in silver 2-3 with lvl 60 Sir Nick(maxed), Miscreated(maxed), Stag Knight(80%), and Aphotecary(80%), all with relatively decent gear and optimised speed. The Aphotecary has about 240 speed, yet still not fast enough in Silver 2, so for sustain, I go for Kantra or other def based champs. It has become easier, but nowhere near where it was about 4-5 months ago. My Foli with around 4k attack, 100% crit rate and 110% crit damage does literally nothing for 5 out of 10 teams, even with 60% decrease def on the foes... Just pulled Madame Serris, so will see if she can turn the tide.. Tag team arena is a disaster.. It only got worst in my opinion. Just going to be pushed back to bronze 3...

as you progress the Missions require you to reach gold 4, max out something in the great hall and deal 100,000,000 (one hundred million) damage to the clan boss on nightmare or above. Just a heads up if your chasing an arbiter

Arena is still incredibly difficult. I've gotten much better champs that are much faster and more accurate than my previous Gold 4 teams and I'm struggling to get much higher than Gold 2. Evidently 300 speed is not enough to break into Gold 3

It still sucks. I don't complain as much because I take a workman's attitude towards it. But 2.12 didn't really help at all. Players want to be able to work through their progress missions and work up in arena. Naturally to improve in rank you need to improve your team. But once you reach certain levels it's so hard to initially reach Silver for instance it takes players usually a month or two even if they are really dedicated with how arena is right now. That's insane. Imagine the way the missions are now and it takes you 60 days or something to make it to silver I in today's arena. I have been in Silver 2 from day 51 on my account until day 137 or something is where I am at. That's 80 days of the same tier. My team has gotten significantly better and faster but still 80 days of Silver 2 That's insane. I have scratched Silver 3 twice. I have entered it. But can not progress. Still I bide my time. I farm Silver medals for ages. I am sitting on nearly 1000 silver medals. But in my own way I am stuck. Some other newer players are in much more of a bind than I am. Sucks.

I have 2 accounts 1 in gold 4, and I still can’t farm medals. It is gold 4 though.... is it really suppose to be easy? My second acct is only 3 months old and I barely can get out of bronze 3 and can’t even come close to silver 1 that I have the mission. It’s horrible the next mission is clear stage 7 of the catacombs on hard. I have Kael clearing 12-3 on brutal as a farmer. My next big stopping point will be getting 50 silver medals. Horrible, they didn’t do a thing except the new fusion.

Arena is still bad. My mission wants me to upgrade great hall to 4 which requires 400 silver medals and I cannot beat most bronze 4 teams. Level 60 legendaries, the good ones, level 60,everywhere. I tried different teams with warmaiden, Dracomorph, whatever. Don't have the gear for enough speed and crit and damage. Maybe over a few weeks stronger players now move up, if there was improvement after all, making bronze and silver easier several weeks down the road?

Silver 2 here and it's worst, top tier champs everywere, all teams are very competitive. I'm at 74 days in running a kathun at 250 spd and i see myself being outspeed half of the time, the other half it's tormin, duchess or krisk shenanigans... Just achieved first lvl 4 greathall mission, that was a month of grind... i hightly consider quiting now.

Lucky enought for you you're on unm but im prety sure you have somewhat unkilable or counterattack to be able to am i wrong ? When you have no, stagknight, tyrel, maneater, coldheart, royalgarde, skulcrusher, gorgorab, seeker, ect, ect, ect... you get the point... so yes i can gentely wait for all x2 and grind silver medals forever but now the game doesn't gives me fun its up to me.

Alot of people just stops playing in Raid . And yes - it's still a babysteps . It's not enough for make people back 2 game ... I think it's good - but not enough . Still login to the game , doing daily shit ... nothing keeps me in the game longer ...

Arena has not gotten any easier. I actually barely play Arena now. I dropped from Gold IV to Gold I and sometimes struggle to stay there. I recently got Rotos though and that has helped, but too often I get annihilated by Teams with barely more than half the Power Rating of mine. I feel like I have been hacked and my Defense and resistance have been set at zero.

I'm in bronze four and I haven't seen any difference before patch 2.12 it's the same for me I have apothecary running at 246 speed all my other champions are 190 speed and i win only half of my battles Almost all the other teams that I face have 140k power teams and my team has 77k power I don't find that so fair and I hope that plarium tries to fix it

my high kathun has 223 speed and my kael is 169 speed bronze 4 is supereasy compared to silver 2 my teampower is 81k

Pvp is slightly easier: I'm still seeing a ton of teams with 180k+ power. I'm stuck in silver 3 with 131k power.

Power isn't the end all to end all. My upper power comps I run in G4 are like 180K Power. It's all about what kits you bring and how you're building.

@@m80thewolf86, true; however, I've found that I'm getting overmatched by the likes of Hegemon, Krisk, Arbiter, Siphi, Rotos, etc.

@@darkalchemy8738 Yeah... That part is a bit tougher to overcome, unfortunately :/ For everyone except Rotos, I've found Skullcrown set up with CA Masteries to be pretty effective. As far as Rotos, just CC the s**t out of him lol.

I don't think it's getting easier I have be playing for about a year now, & still have not got the silver yet,it's very frustrating when my power is 80k to 90k going up against a 50k or so & I still get hammered in like 2 shots, it's frustrating when you have a goal can't reach it because of these conditions

Am i the only one that noticed they also ruined the event grouping? they said that they will start goup player in event in a fair way..so far its not going to happen

yeah arena changed. 1 week ago i saw more legys but less meta legys. and now i see way less legys, but the teams are better optimized in speed and teamcomps still the same rank as before, but the matches are different btw i´m silver 2

its not about easier, its about fair competition and it still is just as bad as before, I'm sure they kicked a few dormant accounts and that helped but didn't address the real problems arena is having. Been playing for 120 days and still cant get out of bronze :( (of course haven't gotten any legos yet either and not ftp, guess just bad luck)
