Honestly people in the US just pick baby names from other cultures than their own all the time, even if it's not from a heritage of their own at all. It does happen. I was curious if Komei is one of these cases where a name is identical but has two separate cultural origins like Naomi - which can be both Japanese AND Hebrew despite not being related, but no. So we can assume that, or possible heritage in his case!

It's because we are all from other cultures and we end up liking their names. It may be a combination of cultures name too. We do that alot.

After all the widowed or unhappily-married parents, Komei and Christy were quite refreshing to see. Compatible aspirations, decent zodiac chemistry, full relationship bars... they seem like a wholesome, loving couple just trying to get by. I want good things for them and their kids.

No no no ... Komie married Cassandra Goth ... they are living happily ever after in Pleasantview and ... a copy of them in Riverblossom Hills. Actually Mort, Cassandra, and Alexander ... when they were still kids moved with their house to Strangeville and abducted Bella back from the aliens and back into the Goth house and then went back to Pleasantview. Cassandra and Komei got married and stayed at home with Mort, Bella, and Alexander. Alexander grew up and married Meadow Thayer and now have a baby named Sandra after aunt Cassandra. They also live with Mort, Bella, Cassandra, Komie and their baby Adam. They go on vacation alot camping in the mountains and they have a cabin in the winter. They have a house on the beach and own a bar with a ship on it. They had a really good vacation in the orient and it was wonderful when they all learned to teleport. They all have good memories and are living the good and happy life maxed out in platinum plumbobs. ... all together. Oh and they have a house in the city and a beautiful restraunt too. Komie's best friend is Johnny Maxis and his wife who own a highly successful beautiful bakery ... somewhere. And then their are the Andrews who are good family friends with the Goths and Tellermans. The Andrews are a mom and dad with 5 kids. ... 2 teen girls, a middle girl and then twins a boy and girl. I only remember the boys name is Joey. Such a cute family!
