Thank you so much for going through the effort of showing us these in- person! I was excited to see the new elevator rails, but somehow the tenjinkun was even more thrilling to see! Watching that small and sleek lift climb up the slope of stairs, I'm shocked that it isn't some kind of technology sent here from of the future. And thank you for showing us the view at night! Love from the USA!

I never cease to be amazed at how Japanese transport, especially long distance Japanese railways, are so much better than here in the U.K. - I just wish the Japanese rail companies were given complete and direct control of the U.K. railways

You are aware that rail tickets in Japan cost about double the price compared to the same distance traveled, right?

Absolutely stunning views of nature and city vistas; the train is very impressive and accommodations for pedestrians on par or better than anywhere else. One sad note are the caged animals living in concrete and the fascination for child-themed vending machines. Japan certainly is a land of contrasts. Thank you for the great video. ❤

U.S. needs to learn from Japan on how our transportation needs to improve drastically.
@DJAYPAZ2 ай бұрын
Agreed. The US isn’t the only country that could learn from Japan.
@roger09292 ай бұрын
Japan's income tax rate is roughly double the rate in the U.S. The population density is almost 10 times more. So if you want to live in a country with 3.5 billion people and pay twice as much income tax, I'm sure the U.S. would be able to provide the same level of public transport.
