Not sure if it’s the video game equivalent to Dorothy opening the door to see the land of Oz or to the opening shot of the Star Destroyer in Star Wars, but it was one of those moments where gamers at the time knew nothing would ever be the same as before.

Ahhh, the sweet hit of nostalgia... I haven't played the original since its original pc release. It's a pity that I don't have the original discs still, heh, though they might not even work on modern machines! Suppose I should head to Steam and pick it up again... ooh, and VIII while I'm at it, could go for a little Triple Triad (and it's catchy theme!) Hope whatever metrics you chose get high enough to see more of this as a series, it's always entertaining to see a new player try out an old favorite.

To see that it’s the guys, playing the GREATEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME, and we finally get to see Rob gush about ffvii in all its glory, is the best present ever to come home to. It takes a lot of time to dedicate to these games, but if you play them slow and explore, talk to everybody and stay curious, you will enjoy some amazing moments of friendship and adventure. Some people keep a journal and make notes when they play these games!
