Dolphin and Mark entering the stage gave me the shivers 😮 Bless you Tom, rest in peace Danny, you are my guitar hero since 1978!

Thanks so much for posting this video, which I have watched countless times. I was lucky enough to be there on the night as well - a sad occasion in many respects, but also a wonderful tribute to - and celebration of - a rare talent. There was a lovely moment during the gig when Tom turned around to Dolphin just as the guitar solo on The Winter of ‘79 was taking off...I couldn’t see Tom’s facial expression from where I was standing, but Dolphin just gave a big smile and winked. Think it was possibly the first time they’d played together in over 40 years...

Great to hear the legendary Dolphin again too. One of my all-time favourite drummers.

Really nice gig, fine tribute to one of their own who's gone.

It's unbelievable that it's not possible to find "still loving you" live. That song is a gem and I can't believe he never perfomed it live.

This was recorded on a small basic camera from the front of the auditorium. It was LOUD so the mic was overloading during the loudest parts. There was not a lot I could do about that. I did not have the luxury of good mics or a feed from the desk. Nevertheless it is a pretty good representation of what we heard. I did the best I could. Edit: I'm revising my reply after having heard it back from You Tube on a good monitor system. My recording that I uploaded was borderline-acceptable, but the added distortion from the horrible You Tube codecs has indeed pushed it into nastiness in many places. I'll eave it up as, at least, Toms spoken sections are coming through OK. Also pulling down the volume slightly on both the YT page and the main computer volume helps a bit. If I can find my original files I''ll upload it via Google Drive where it will not suffer from the YT codecs.
