WOW, this video brings back memories, i built the Motel complex behind the Clwyd Gate, i worked on it from start to finish briclklaying, i used to love going to work every day cos the views were spectacular and with the seasons as i was up there nearly two years were amazing to watch. I also worked in LLandurnog for a couple of years and we used to go running up past where you camped, Great times.

Hi Kevin, unfortunatley I don't have that map, as I know this area so well. But this wild camp was on the " Pen y Cloddiau" walk, you can park near a place called Llangwyfan, and this is a circular walk which I did anti-clockwise and once you start climbing the mountain section, is more or less where I camped. Opposite the "Moel y Parc TV mast. Hope this helps. Paul.

Great video! Lovely view. The tent looks like a larger version of the one-man I just reviewed. Great little cooker you've got there too. I love to hear the sound of the rain on a tent - very relaxing and cozy and its so great to wake up to amazing views like that. I remember camping on Pen-Y-fan and sitting there eating a full English breakfast just taking in the view. Great stuff Paul!

@saswales , quite pleased with it, used it on Snowdonia and clwydian range, both times had wind and rain and it held up very well, so I have confindance with it, there is another tent Vango Banshee 200....2 man tent but I like to have room for my rucksack, kit etc, so opted for the 300, I know its slightly heavier, but I don't mind that, keeps me fitter. Cheers mate.
