I completely agree with co host on everything he said about this movie. The original inspired me to the point where i wanted to be Freddy Krueger in that movie. Remake Freddy isn't nothing new. He's just a modernized version of the original Freddy with no interesting dreams at all. All he does is just kills people with his glove but yet he's a dream killer with limits to what he can do in the dream world. This proves a point. NOBODY CAN SOLVE THE ENGLUND PUZZLE.

I loved the jokey parts of the later Nightmare On Elm Street movies. It gave Freddy a personality, and he was actually pretty funny.

I can see and agree with some of what Cyrus is saying, I did like some of the dialog "Freddy" would say, I hate the girl who played Nancy. I think they should have just killed her off and we switch back to Kris, I liked her So MUCH more. She's the best actor in this film. I liked maybe some ideas in it but it's just not enough to say it's a great or even decent film. I'll say it's a ok, eh, timewaster. Plus now they're making yet another reboot. I can't wait for this a second time. It's Spider Man all over again.

Cohost is right! This movie was crap, and Cyrus makes no sense! A whole school wouldn't forget that a molester was molesting ALL of them. One of those kids would remember something. And I also agree about changing Freddy's origins the way they did. This Nancy sucked. Heather L. was a great Nancy. Like Cohost said, you rooted for Heather's Nancy. This remake Nancy was awful! She was dull and deadpan. Jackie Earle Haley was good, but Robert Englund is the one and only Freddy Krueger.
