I love how thoughtful and introspective your approach is to this. I think Sarah Z also talked about the “dopamine hit” people get from calling out and canceling people. This video is adding to an important conversation about this topic.

Her “what girls/guys” wear and do videos were never meant to be taken seriously. She loves and respects everyone and brought so much joy to the world. I can’t imagine anyone attacking her. Even if you’re not a fan, how do you attack someone like her? I miss her so much, but I just want her to live a life that makes her happy. Thank you for your views here

I don't think she was being cancelled by the masses, she decided to address all of these issues in her past because people were calling her unproblematic. She wanted to point out that she HAD made mistakes in the past and, even though they don't reflect her current beliefs, she doesn't feel comfortable existing on a channel that had content that she deemed harmful to people. She was not run off the internet. She still will post streams and podcasts, but she deplatformed herself from the Jenna marbles channel.

I wish that was the case, but I understand her complete departure. I think being so prominent for a decade probably was hard on her mental health
