0/30/21 is OP for healing, used it through all BWL on Nost and was competing with the top healers for sure other druids didn't seem to come close, just slow down a bit when you get to 30-40% :P

thank you man, I had a lot of problems managing my mana when I used rank 10, I tried with lower but I had not set the speed difference in the healing ranges xD

Since we're talking about a phase where t0,5 stuff is already into the game how can you even recommend briarwood (+29 spell dmg/healing) as pre raid bis for heal druids, if there's the dm trinket with +44 healing. *sigh*

Pretty sure 0.5 quest chain wont be available on launch , and Idols/Librams etc were added in AQ patch right? the dungeons loot tables will be like they were in the beginning, however all the items that did exist in the beginning will have the 1.12 stats. also, 0.5 is the upgraded version right? Darkmantle, Heroism etc?

Yeah that's what I'm seeing I think, making guides is hard with so little information. Might just wait til the damn game comes out and put together some new stuff. Yeah .5 is the upgraded version of the dungeon sets.

You have three T0.5 chain drops on your BiS list, but not Royal Seal of Eldre'thalas. Didn't Blizzard say that most of the loot added post 1.9 won't be available until the final content stages? If T0.5 is available, RSOE'T ought to be available too by that time..? I'm also not a fan of your talent spec but that's a personal choice that you've made so that's whatever.

The only information for confirmation on items that has been posted at all is simply that the game will be released as 1.12, they said something about phasing but without a database released there's pretty much no way to tell what items will have what stats. The talents are the best available for healing, literally. If you go anything else you're gimping yourself, royal seal is a DM drop, DM won't be out on launch.

I read this as items that were released in Patch 1.4 (Animated chain necklace, for example) will be released in Phase 2. This information has been talked to death by the community since Blizz announced it on Classic WoW forums back in April. It's still a great guide, though :)

if you do make a phase 1 video can you throw in what you are meant to do while not healing? coz like other classes can attack the mobs but is that still what you are meant to do as a restro?

no, any doofus attacking mobs while not healing is generating unnecessary threat and is a liability to their group, if you're not healing just stand still and let your mana regenerate.

Yeah some folks on reddit told me that pretty much the entire guide is incorrect due to this "phase" thing they're going with. I wish they'd just release a fucking database already so we know what they will and won't be changing. Pretty frustrating trying to make content with so little info.

@@powerfulnoun2608 For a straight up healing spec I'd recommend 24/0/27 as your heals cost 9% less, you get access to Nature's Grace (for 0.5s faster casts after a crit) and 10% healing effect in the resto tree. It's not as versatile, but you get more bang for the buck with mana potions and mana regen, as well as stronger heals. You also get some decent balance passives for dealing damage while soloing or when there's not much healing to be done. That said, I'll probably do a HotW/NS build myself come classic :)

Hey man, I really enjoyed the video, however, there's quite a few pieces of incorrect info - particularly regarding the gear you recommend, as some of it is not available for phase 1. I'd recommend you to look at Ebbnflow's video, the BiS lists on "the classic list" spreadsheet, or Taladril's list of druid gear. In addition, you don't seem to be mentioning the main healing spec that is used for raiding - the moonglow build, which focuses on reducing mana cost on your HT. I'm also pretty sure that some of your downranking tips are slightly incorrect (scaling on a 2.5 sec cast is not 100%) or just a bit off-meta. Again, the format of a nice simple guide touching on most points is really great, it'd just be better if all the info was correct and up-to-date :)

Actually HOTW is the main healing spec and was the one most used in vanilla raiding itself. It's definitely the spec I'll be using. I know now that there are quite a few errors due to the phase issue people have brought up, I'm going to head back into the drawing board and try to get the list correct and re-upload hopefully. or I'll just label it a Phase 2 bis guide and leave it, guess I'll figure it out. Thanks for the tips.

​I'm not doubting the usefulness of HotW at all, and I definitely plan to use it for quite a lot of my time in classic, I just figured it'd be relevant to mention the spec you come across the most often when looking at resto guides. And while HotW can definitely hold its own as a healing spec, I doubt it can fairly be considered the BEST healing spec. Whether HotW was actually used the most in Vanilla raiding or not I guess is hard to argue for / against at this point in time. Cool video! Keep it up!
