Yes I wish Max Paynes modding community was as well known as Doom, GTA, or Half Life's because its really awesome what kind of high quality mods and TC's are still being created for this mod. E.g. in two years we will be getting a Robocop mod.

The mod I really love playing Max Payne 2 with was Payne Effects. The guns, effects, and death animations kinda stick out to me til this day

Tjhis is so awesome. i never played any of max payne mods. but i love the three games i started with max payne 2 as a kid. which mod would you best recommend?

Payne Evolution. As it turns Max Payne 2 to be more like Max Payne 3 it also includes lots of content from other mods level packs e.g. Mona the assassin, Payne Chronicles, etc its a definite must play. You can even play as John Wick in the dead man walking levels! If you play the older version of the mod you can play as Chow Yun Fat instead in the dead man walking levels.
