Kent, I’ve owned the exact same 560sl, same white over palomino and brown soft top for 30 YRS. I have even ordered blower motor brushes and other things from you. About hitting my head on the grill, NO COMMENT 😐. Try replacing the valve cover gaskets with that PITA and one quickly finds out. Still won’t sell the car, it’s too beautiful 😂.

@Mercedessource i have a little problem with my steering in my w201 190d, it feels sloppy.. anyway to keep it short, do you know if the steering coupler/ragjoint is a known part to fail or is it probably the steering box? All balljoints/bushings new etc. Thank you for some great videos! 🙂

Of course, that is possible. I know some owners that have done that or even removed the hood. I believe I have come up with a better solution, which I will show in the next video.
