I'll say this one more time for those that don't get it: The NFL (which is basically Goodell's ego) will NEVER let one of their franchises purposely lose ANY game! Theses are not independent businesses who make their own decisions, these are franchises, think "Subway". Everything from the size of the team logo to the color of their uniforms is controlled by the league. Goodell is very image conscience and a control freak. Secondly, how could anyone call themselves a "fan" and want their team to lose ANY game? I have stood by this team since 1973 and the dark years far out number the good years, but I still want them to win EVERY game, every year!

Yes, it is worth winning. Tell the guys in a contract year to play it soft, make themselves look bad and maybe even risk injury. Aidan O'Connell turned his back on a defender and gave up his guard and found out he was not protected like mr tuck. Now with valuable time missed he is told that he will be replaced by someone who plays with $50k female necklaces if he takes one for the team? At 26 his life no longer matters? I'm quite sure he is going to try and do his best to take care of business and drown out the nonsense and say how about me. Tanking is for people with gambling problems. Football is extremely dangerous, you play to win or you don't play at all.

Vinny is right. We lose if we win. Not worth it. We pay a small fortune for our season tickets. Raiders raise the prices again and we suck.
