You're absolutely right, there are no winners and losers in war. Its all about Context. Example: India won 1971 war, created Bangladesh. Any country would make sure that Bangladesh always stays within the grasp of the Liberator. They would install a Deepstate within that country, hold all the strings of power to puppet the Govt. But in recent context, if we look at Bangladesh we will consider India as the loser in strategic terms. No one can take away the 1971 victory but wars are faught for strategic reasons (India wanted to avoid a 3 Front conflict : China, Pakistan, East Pakistan). Creation of Bangladesh ensured that. But now as hostile Govt is in place in Dhaka, we've lost the strategic advantage. We dont what would happen in next 10years, maybe Sheikh Hasina will come back looking at the economic mess that Bangladesh has created for themselves? Geopolitics is very fluid

Well it's a bit complex in the civil serives in India. It's actually a personality test more than an interview. The interviewers like to talk to the candidate and if they like the candidate they sometimes would handhold the candidate so he won't end up messing up in his interview. After middle 2010s, they are called as personality tests and interviews, but it has always been personality assessment only.

Line of Actual Control Mao came up with this. The real border between British India and Tibet (China) is called Macmahon Line but after 1962, those areas were captured by China. So LAC is also a Ceasefire Line and demarcates or notifies the area which are ACTUALLY controlled by both sides. India-China has overlapping Lines of perceptions but thats a different topic altogether. Meanwhile LoC, also a ceasefire line is a temporary arrangement between India and Pakistan agreed upon in 1972. LoC is not disputed per se, both sides have exchanged maps and recognised the areas under their control thus its simply called "Line of Control". Both side claims over J&K is completely different than the demarcation of LoC, its the 1949 ceasefire line which became "LoC" in 1972 Simla Agreement

JUST TRYING TO GIVE MY OPINION AND UNDERSTAND YOUR POV. a quick question, why did the genocide (which i feel is collateral damage of a war) happened in the first place in gaza ? Did israel attack without any actual reason ? From what i read i can recall that on 7th Oct hamas men entered the border of israel and did heinous activities to civilians and even took multiple hostages with them (and many of those hostages have still not been returned). So israel’s attack looks more like a retaliation to me which ig every country’s leadership would do if its civilians get attacked. If nothing would have happened on 7th oct this wouldn’t even have started.
