It's so lovely seeing this topic shine as it ought to, bringing wisdom and laughter, community and individuality. One can tell a lot from the vibes whether or not you're looking at the real thing... as there are other videos from certain others (some with a lot of sway in the community or the "centre of the fire" as they would call it) who claim they're "the one and only" (misunderstanding entirely, by taking literally, the Oneness of our system). We need not be literally One just as the Ipsissimus does not validate Solipsism but rather a Solipsist Hivemind. Everything "above" Da'ath is full of paradoxes since without seeming contradiction our brains and beings are incapable of finding Malkuth in Kether and Kether in Malkuth or understanding the flowing or connecting between Briah and Atziluth. I appreciate how human Eschelman is. All the silly mistakes at first but he clearly does not care. What matters to folk who dedicate their lives to The Work ought to be The Work... not "how it looks to others that I'm doing The Work". Lotta people seem to like the theatre, some others like being the secret masters in the shadows who never risk giving talks like this. To me despite one of them denying fellowship the reality is they are still One and its amusing how much they embody the 3 in 1 and 1 in 3: "Speech in Silence, Silence, and Silence in Speech. The Order is One, as there is but One Eye in the Triangle." If one of the three goes dark it'll likely be part of the larger, natural, non-temporal plan. White Lodge and Black Lodge reunified perhaps? Who knows. Regardless. Thanks for the wonderful talk.

This is beautiful. I have been on the path for over twenty years now. I have noticed that the uninitiated have a great deal of paranoia (mostly induced by youtube fear porn made by self proclaimed "experts" who have never stepped foot in any lodge). People talk about Freemasons, Rosicrucians, the OTO, and yet I never hear mention of the Silver Star. Personally, my path was filled with confusion and mystery, until I got up with this system. Your interpretation seems very shaped to modern conspiracy theory. World domination? In a sense... Yes. But not the kind that you are thinking. It isn't about material possession or mental control. It is about liberation of the human spirit. The slaves shall serve because that is their will. That is where they are in their journey. I think that anyone who doesn't by mere logic ASSUME that power is gained and maintained by conspiracies, is just lying to theirself. Of course they conspire. The difference I have with your position and what it has in common with those dogmatic creators of the "secret societies are for the elite, their symbols are satanic (explanations to the contrary be damned), and therefore, all of the evil in the world is being committed by elite Satan worshipers and carried out through the esoteric lodges" theory. I'm glad y'all came to a peaceful resolution. I'm am far from an adept, and very little versed in Thelema but I am very interested in it. I would like to know what are the biggest difference between the O.T.O, and the A.A. I'm currently following a teacher Mark Stavish, the owner/operator of "The Institute for Hermetic Studies" who resonates well with me. Its a LHP, but don't automatically jump to something like Satanism or the like. The difference between LHP and RHP is that the Divinity is brought down to an intact ego and doesn't dissolve into the Divinity, that's LHP. And of course RHP seeks to dissolve into Divinity. Compassion is required to undertake The Path of Return :-) I would like to know which of these paths, if any that AA claims. VIDEOSALDAAT, I was wondering if you were a fan of Mark Passio? Some of the things you mention sounded like his teachings (possibly propaganda). I have listened to many of his podcasts and watched most of his videos and I gotta tell you he is a well speaker and I learned a lot but something started not to seem quite right. I noticed my overall fear level was spiked after almost all his talks, speeches or whatever. He was fearmongering under the guise of spreading Truth. To quote my favorite singer/artist/Magickian Maynard James Keenen " THERE'S NO LOVE IN FEEEEEEAAAAAAR", lol. That's proven by science, Love and Fear produce two different vibration, and the two can't be produced simultaneously. I'm glad this has been explained and explained so well to me. I held the common conception that degreed orders were _all_ a scam. Then I realised initiation is sometimes required and wondered what a genuine series of initiation would look like. Then I found this talk and got my answers. I'm currently in the process of constructing my own church/religion. This structure is good working inspiration I may need further down the road. (Footnote: to preemptively defend myself from potentially being called a pretentious douchebag, I'm not fabricating a church/religion to rival Thelema in scope, but to replace the Catholic Church in Ireland for those who can't bring themselves to be Catholic. Religious community is a cultural lifeline)

If there were a cause, moreover a willed cause for the universe springing into existence, that cause would not be subject to space or time. It would NECESSARILY be infinite, without beginning, end, everywhere, and nowhere. Time and space expanded as the bang banged. There are some suggestions made concerning something from nothing, making a convincing argument for that possibility as well. But in a nutshell: Not only is it unnecessary to require a beginning or birth of a being that exists outside of our finite space-time continuum; but it is actually illogical to suggest the possibility of a beginning to such a being.

Crowleyan logic was quite interesting. He believed that morality is not necessary for Enlightenment because there were people who attained without being moral. However he does not rejected gnosis/gnana/cabbalah/knowlage as important part of his path despite the fact that many people who lacked education in mysticism attained to higher levels of continuousness. He claims that asanas even thou not absolutely necessary are part of thelemic path because it is very difficult to attain without it yet he does not acknowledge other "helpers" as required like the above mentioned morality. Not to speak about the vast numbers of initiates who does not performed ritual magic nor specifically hermetic magic. Basically he know a lot about path to spiritual progression and just cut away things he does not liked and kept the ones which he liked. He attained and many others attained to prove that his way was effective. Sometimes I get the feeling that all is really basically needed for Enlightenment is achieving samadhi, and being in it often to gain insight. Also I really do not see why probationer rank was necessary when it is basically getting familiar with what Thelemic path to Enlightenment is.
