We hope that you enjoy this video set in our hometown of Bennington, Vermont. Cindy and I feel so lucky to live here amongst the history and beauty of the Green Mountains. Whether it's in your RV or otherwise, we hope you will experience this wonderful part of our country.

How wonderful that your town actually reads the Declaration of Independence (our birth certificate) for everyone. We have so many folks here today who are not even aware that we are governed differently than any other country. I pray we fight for the greatness that has served us for more than 200 years. 🇺🇸

Thanks for watching! I could not agree more. It was a great day and a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy had to be fought for by some very foresightful patriots.

The 12 Tribes of the Coleville Indian Reservation, in Washington, know how to put on a red-hot, American fireworks display.. glad to be alive, the morning after. BRAVO!

Thanks for watching! I will have to look further into that. We're a ways away from Washington but have plans to visit it in the future (it is one of the 7 states we have not yet taken our Airstream to).

"A decent respect of mankind" This was a breath of fresh air to hear this read, and see a proper respectful representation of Independence Day. Thank you for sharing how your town celebrates. Fun you got to be in the parade. Hip, Hip, Huzzah! Thanks for ringing the bell for us fans! 🤣 C's shirt is very fun! Love it. - Michelle

I was stationed at Ft, Devens in 1970 and 71 and played in the Army Training Center band. The band enjoyed playing in the Bennington parade. Last year, we visited Bennington and enjoyed our visit. I had to show my wife what a wonderful town Bennington is.

Thanks for watching and visiting our town - we're glad you enjoyed your stay. I was probably at Ft. Devens for some random visits while you were there. My father was in Vietnam then and my mother stayed in Lowell, MA with her family. Doctors visits and the occasionally commissary were always at Ft. Devens...

The American Village in Montevallo, Alabama is a spot y’all have to go to the next time you’re here. We heard Dolly Madison give a speech and of course Thomas Jefferson read the Declaration of Independence. They have beautiful colonial buildings and the grounds are incredible. They change up things every year. The national cemetery is just around the corner from there. Safe travels

Since your home, may I suggest you repeat what you did one episode where you went around to your local small town grocery and picked up an item from each location and had a meal. I thought that was very interesting.
