🎩 That graveyard photo is FABULOUS. That graveyard in general. Nothing like that in this part of the US. And the capture of the leaves... Wonderful. Thank you!

Lovely images Simon with a perfect choice of music. I quite often find myself in a cemetery when I need the quiet and respite from the world. I actually grew up next to one in Suffolk.

My goodness - the birdsong was so vibrant during the first image. Beautiful. When my kids were young I always took them to old cemeteries. You can learn so much history! And now as adults they visit on their own. That cemetery is so interesting. I appreciate all of your images Simon. Have a good week.

I love visiting graveyards and reading the gravestones,which can tell a lot about the area and people. All the photo’s were stunning, especially the high key image. I feel like trying backlight with my infrared camera. Thank you.

Three beautiful images Simon and I agree with you, my favourite is the last one. I love how the leaf at the bottom of the frame angles into the left hand corner - perfect.

lovely images Simon 🙂 the leaves shot is my pick but as always, picking a favourite is never easy I'm pretty well confined to home at the moment, but we have saxifrage and forget-me-nots growing in our garden so they're keeping me and my camera busy! we also drove past our local chapel's cemetery the other day and I reminded myself I must get there before it's too late and they've cut the ivy back. there's parking right outside so i should be able to get there shortly (fingers crossed)

Hello Simon I had never seen such an old cemetery. A realy peaceful place to find great compositions, but this time my favorite image is the last one. Don´t forget to look up, I always do it :-). Grt Ernesto

Very nice Simon! I love an old cemetery. You gave me an idea to go and revisit this old cemetery here in Miami that’s absolutely full of great trees and vines. Loved that last shot with the leaves. I didn’t know you were “allowed” to have blown out highlights. You’ve proven that rule wrong as well. Thanks!!

Coffee lover here too! Not sure about the gizmo tbh but I always have my hario v60 and filters in the van and coffee from Salford Roasters in the fridge, i can highly recommend their Rwanda natural or the Ugandan Bukonzo dream! The gravestones image was stunning btw!

I don't think it would have been as good a photo without the background tree.

As a self confessing coffee snob myself I'd love one of those little machines but I can't justify the cost versus the amount of use it would get. I visit my dad once a month (500 mile round trip) but can I justify its use for two days a month? and as I no longer work that won't cut it either! I'm sorely tempted. Ahhh well I'm sure about one thing: your 'eye' for finding compositions. I loved the three flower shot. and I think that may be my favourite. Well done Simon for inspiring me to get myself out there and start looking.

They are so beautiful. I wish we had that kind of graveyards here in Sweden. =) An inspiring video as usual, so now i am taking my camera for a ride, looking for motives. =)

Those gravestones were stunning.. A bit of mist on that scene would've just been the cherry on the cake.. That sort of image is right up my street.

Simon, great shots as always. I really like the second shot, the vine covered grave markers. Have you tried converting it to B&W? With everything green my thought is that the color it self doesn't really add much to the composition.

@@SimonBoothPhotography I’m sure it does - in fact it’s probably well-suited for landscape photography, so long as you don’t need to haul it up a mountain. 😊 I looked out of curiosity and it seems that they are available for a reasonable amount of money. I currently shoot m4/3, but if I ever decide to switch formats perhaps I’ll get one and skip over full frame altogether.
@SimonBoothPhotography7 ай бұрын
@@michaelhall2709 it certainly does the job well and feels nice to use but yes, it’s annoyingly heavy.

I often photograph our local cemetery as it is very scenic and is quite overgrown with greenery. I call it my "6th Sense" walk - I see dead people...
